Oh no. I thought there may have been a chance of re-signing him IF we could resolve this nonsense with EFL quickly.

Vidal, it's a big loss for sure, but if he's followed by Rooney it will be absolute disaster.

I'm going to the off-licence with a very large suitcase.

Absolutely no reflection Jags. Needs to take care of himself although I hoped he might hang around for a few days to see if this nonsense gets sorted.

Couldn’t blame Rooney either if he walks.

I blame Chicago for getting the EFL riled up with his copious emails.

Haha, what have you done Chicago?

I'm still holding hope ( this is not the time to give up, given the fight Rooney and everyone at the club have shown)

It’s surely written in the stars that Rooney leaves to go to Everton when they sack Rafa

No sack-cloth and ashes for me! Just two e-mails so far and if they deign to respond to my second one then, no matter what they say, they will get another one!

Best of luck Phil. Hope you have mare against us though. Stearman has played well. Maybe Bielik to realize his dream of CB too.

Leadership and organization of defence will be a loss though. Just wish we knew the truth re. What and who is getting in the way of salvation... or if we're just going through the motions of flogging a dead horse.

Still we are Derby
Still we'll fight
Until the end

This stoic band of brother's, this football club amongst football club, these players amongst players, still carrying the torch, still we rise, still we fight, these fans amongst fans.

A toast to you all.
We will never fall.

" Every one of her sons must hear
And none that hear it dare forget.
This they all with a joyful mind
Bear through life like a torch in flame,
And falling fling to the host behind -
Play up! play up! and play the game!" 🐏

Thank you Jagielka and good luck.
Thanks to Wayne Rooney for managing our team in a state to face the ridiculous EFL campaign.
Some really sad cases spouting utter tripe.
Patience, Rams - we’ll be there at the last deal xxx

I'm furious, Jags was a pleasure to watch, a real gem of a player and the club is much poorer without him.

A big loss but he's gone, gonna have to fight from the ropes now. Stearman has put in some shifts. Davies to step up with the marshaling. Bielik maybe in a few weeks time to push for a place.

A big blow but our chin is made of metal this season. Just hope the players can control their temper, sense of betrayal and injustice better than I did this morning.

Foulest mood I've been in, in a long time. Sadly we cant control the powers that be, but we can control how we react to it. So far, it's been an inspiration to us all, lets hope it continues and we can take our frustration out on the opposition's net.

That said, I would love it if we stayed up. I'd even invite Steve Gibson and the EFL to the staying up party.
