A smart move by the club. Great to have Forshaw on board for another season but protects the club in case of another long spell out. He's a good bloke and have a feeling he'll make a top manager or coach in the future.
Yeh Forshaw is a good guy and i'm pleased for him. After all he's been through he deserves a break (one that doesn't involve a limb)
I'm not sure at his age and injury history he'd get a long deal anywhere... though probably he could have squeezed longer than we've given him.
His last deal will have been championship money... whereas as this one - a season and a half I think - will probably be prem money - so this looks a good/fair deal all round.
Very happy with this news. He's been great since he
overcame the injuries. And holy hell, the De Bock era's
coming to an end.
The thing is that we all knew this wouldn’t be a problem didn’t we?
Did any of us for one second think that Forshaw would be putting feelers out elsewhere? He just seems like a decent bloke with strong morals that would want to do the right thing.
Good news, and sounds like a positive endorsement for anyone who backed him to be an important player in the summer

Or bite Radz hand off getting a premiership wage for a mediocre championship player

Well, if he maintains his form and stays injury free for the duration of his contract, those people can absolutely consider themselves endorsed… whoever they may be
Indeed. Pleased for the player and the impact on the club rather than validation of previous positions held on here.
Fair play to Forshaw, coming back from such a long lay off. A likeable player breaking up play, but could really do with him being more proactive. Currently the master of winning the ball doing a pirouette and passing the ball backwards / sideways at best. Unless he can take more responsibility its a supporting role at best.
Was excellent ever since we signed him. Done well to come back after such a long lay off
was a good signing but didn't live up to expectations till bielsa got hold of him, now quality

I'd put him down as good Championship / lower Prem quality. I'm pleased for him too - seems like a good bloke.
Sensible all round
Considering how much he's played after so long put he's done well.

How much cash are you putting into the club each season to buy all these superstars you expect?
