Ralf: So can someone explain the subs?

Someone said on the match thread that Elanga was injured. I didn't notice it but presumably that's why he came off. Cavani was awful today and has been in the majority of his limited appearances this season.

Tomatoes I don’t agree with you about Ronaldo but I do agree with your concern about in game management tonight, Cavani should have been replaced by Lingard on the hour mark and Matic by DVB, maybe greater minds at work here but the evidence wouldn’t support it

Elanga had an icepack on his leg when he came off apparently.

I’m sure Ralf is a very good manager if given time to implement his ideas but he’s like a learner driver who’s just found himself in the fast lane of a highway and is probably wishing he was back in Moscow.

OP please don't do this. Just let it go. Ralf gonna be done end of the season. Not worth the aggravation

Ask Ole, I'm sure he can explain subs that don't make sense.

should have kept Ole until Mr Big arrives in the summer.

Nah, we were in freefall and even worse than now. We’d probably be close to the relegation zone if he were allowed to fester as manager of a doomed ship.

Nah, It would have been turned around eventually under him especially in this run of 10 games that were bankers apparently for Ralf to win them all. That's turning out well, isnt it?

Top 4 is now a dream. To qualify for thr CL we need to win it this season/

Would it ? We lost 4-1 to a terrible Watford side. A worse side than any of the teams we’ve played since the sacking. The players had given up on Ole and there was no way the genie was going back in the bottle.

Christ almighty, we weren't going to turn things around under Ole. The performances were absolute rock bottom and lost the respect of even a dressing room he gave plenty of leeway. We lost 5 nil at home to Liverpool, had a lower number of touches in the box than any PL team had had at home against anybody in over a year when playing City and lost 4-1 to Watford.

Things are crap but please let's stop holding on to Ole ffs. He was done. At least Rangnick is calling these lazy buggers out and also authorised Ronaldo's interview to be posted on the official club website. Yes, we may have more pain short term but I think what he's doing now could have far more positive ramifications going forward. There's no hiding place now

It’s funny how quickly is has taken Olesexuals to turn on Ragnick. Wasn’t the whole thing with Ole that after 2 years he still needed ‘time’?

Ole came in and performed, at least for a while despite lacking experience. Ralf is the definition of experience. And it is an indictment on Ralfs sheity performance that His performance is being compared to the worst of period in Oles time here. Ragnick has just started! Wait till no one on the squad even cares.

If he keeps this form he should be sacked by February. This dire.

Yeah Ralf, did this and that over in Germany in what are poor leagues. But this is the PL home of the worlds best managers and teams and he certainly isn't in that bracket and nor will United get back there under his leadership.

His decision to drag off our only playmaker and our best finisher (despite him being in poor form) suggests he was defending the draw in the end.

Nobody expects Ralf to take United back to where they were - he’s a fecking interim appointment for God’s sake.

He is not the Messiah. More like John the Bapsist crying in the wilderness beforehand. That’s where we are.

As much as I wanted Ole to succeed. He lost it under his watch. We shouldn’t of been in that position.
I’d like to think he would’ve turned it around, but we were in free fall. And it was just getting worse.
Something had to give.
But of course we can criticise Ralf. We’ve hit the proverbial reset button. But certain things shouldn’t be happening. That result is embarrassing. Not cos it’s Villa, but cos we were 2-0 up, and crumbled.

Dammit,mits a Sunday and I’m still angry!!!
Bloody team!!!
