Aus gov were not forcing him to take the vaccine, only to follow the rules applied to everyone, right or wrong.

No matter how draconian these laws have proven to be for the past two years now, the Aussies have every right to keep enforcing them.
Totally the right outcome in the end, albeit the Aussie authorities made a right coont of getting to this point.
Zero sympathy for Djokovic here … and also have great difficulty believing that he actually had Covid when his dodgy “papers” claimed he did. Pretty sure there’s more to come on that aspect of the saga, as Der Spiegel have already started to unearth.
Think about it … ALL he cares about is getting to 21 Slams, and history shows the Aus Open has always been his best chance. He’s also made it crystal clear he’s never getting vaccinated. So we’re all supposed to believe that his entry “plan” was 100% relying on getting Covid at a specific time, and in a way that wouldn’t affect his health for training, as his only means on defending his title? I smell brown stuff.
I think his fellow pro's see through it as well. Not a great deal of sympathy for him
