GLC seems so weak. Winks slightly ahead of GLC, especially with the corners he takes. Dier and Romero would enjoy those deliveries.

Agree Don, I was getting hugely frustrated as the match wore on that a very good performance was going to yield nothing. After the weekend debacle of the postponed match, I was ready to throw this season under the bus, and reset again next season. But nights like last night are what Spurs are all about.
You never quite know what you are going to get with Spurs. How boring supporting a club like Man City.

Yes agreed Don. The result hasn't changed anything in terms of us needing new players. Great that Bergwijn did that but I wouldn't suddenly think he's the answer to our prayers just yet. He's at least showed he'd be no worse, if not better than Traore, however.
New striker definitely a high priority for me. Kane had a very good game but was wasteful, and Lucas disappeared.
The defence still can't be trusted either, although I must say Doherty has been playing better under Conte.
Lucas got into the game more when he was switched on the left.

Even if he came good in a season or 2, it isn't much use to us right now. We paid a good deal of money for him and for that much he should be producing already.

He got a bit more into it but he was largely ineffective throughout which is a shame because he was showing how effective he's been in recent weeks. It was more of the unreliable, run into defenders version of Lucas yesterday.
Spurtle, for me get Traore in this team and we are laughing. His pace will be absolutely vital for our counter style. We need to sign him asap and start looking at a centre back and also a Harry Kane back up. Traore, Centre back and Striker represents a good window.

Not for me Don. I mean I'd have him if we're not doing anything else but I can only see him coming on, perhaps exciting us with his pace, and then frustrating us with end product no better than what Emerson is giving right now, or Berg minus yesterday. He's essentially just another squad player.
my opinion is that Traore instantly improves us in big away games where we be limited to counter attacks... and as an impact sub when we need a lift in other games...
also we just need bodies. lots of games, injuries, COVID

He featured in almost all of Wolves' league games the last 2 seasons so not sure he's that injury prone. If he doesn't start much it's probably more to do with his form.
