I've seen plenty comparing the 2. The opening post says it was up there with Ajax.

In terms of feeling only. Read the rest.

As if any Spurs fan was holding back their celebration thinking "Yeah this is great but I better not celebrate too much cause it wasn't as good as Ajax"

The sense of emotion would be similar. You win any game that is mildly important late on and you celebrate like crazy. That's how it is whether a CL semi or a league game.

If you're losing with 10 seconds to go knowing you should have won and within moments you score two goals, it doesn't matter if it's a summer friendly or a final to win a trophy, that buzz is the same. For that moment in time everything is equal, it's only when the adrenaline wears off that you put things in context.

Haven't had much to shout about

Massive draw at Palace to claim 6th spot for EL?

When we scored the goal against Ajax I was jumping around and screaming like a looney and nearly knocked myself out, was on the floor with mixed emotions of agony and happiness.

When we scored the winner against Leicester I shouted fk yeah, come on and then went for a poo.

I get that it was a great win in terms of beating a team when losing in the 95th minute, but it was Leicester. In a game that at this stage means very little. To compare it to the Ajax game is insane. Maybe its a glimmer of hope for Spurs fans after a pretty awful 2-3 years but the reaction to last night feels way OTT in terms of what it actually means at the moment.

I know that you're probably on the WUM, but I was referring to the "feeling" of winning a game against all the odds. I'd like to know how many times a team, having been 2-1 down in the 95th minute of a game, go on to win 3-2 and, if that has happened before, how many of the winning team's fans were not excited about it.

Like I've said. I have no issue getting "excited" about it. What football fan wouldn't when watching that game. My comment is around the fall out from that. I've seen it mentioned as being alongside Ajax. I've seen it be called one of the premier league greatest results and I've seen it described as one of spurs best results of recent times.

No issues with that. If our fans got too excitied and said we are gonna do this and that, then that's a problem. It looks like harsh lessons from past have prevented any such statements and rightly so.

We all know who we are playing next but no harm in milking last night victory today.

None of that was mentioned in my OP. I said it was "up there with that famous night in Amsterdam". And I went on to clarify that it was in terms of how I felt when Bergwjin hit the winner. I also said that the game last night was "not on par with qualifying for a CL final". So I really don't know why you're complaining and indeed why you care so much about how happy Spurs fans are and how they express their happiness!

Now, Conte time.

Wee blues going well here, mate.

We play Cliftonville next Tuesday, could decide league, or let glens in?
