Expected goals 1.76 vs 0.24. Just watched highlights. Fred had so much time and space and shot at the keeper when well positioned. I actually only decided to watch the last minute of the game as I was doing something and amazingly enough we scored lol. I was hoping it was onside and it was.👍

I also saw in background a Soucek header as put game on late but only really watched in the last minute as I finished something I was doing in hope and I was amazed we scored. Moyes did it again, got done late on. Also late on both games in the league De Gea made a rare save and we scored a goal although it was the save first before the goal.

the one thing I wanted to see more of is ball retention in the oppo's final third without certain players trying to force the issue. But for that to happen I feel we need a cm that we can trust on the ball like carrick

Yes I agree. Also there was some very needless long range efforts.

Some on here will accuse me of having an agenda but I do feel we need to try a run of games without Ronaldo starting.

I appreciate what he did in the CL and have no agenda but he’s not offering enough in league games.

I remember saying after Chelsea Liverpool game we could finish ahead of Chelsea and I still think we can.

It’s not impossible. We are 6 points behind them with a game in hand however they’ve already faced Liverpool and City twice and will regain some form eventually.

There next 3 league games againat fellow london sides Tottenham, Arsenal and Crystal Palace. I could see there run of draws continuing.

Interestingly in last 10 league games Man Utd have taken 21 points while Chelsea and West Ham both have taken 14 points each.

I never really believed West Ham were in the top 4 equation.

I don’t think he’s done but the PL no longer suits him. If he went back to Italy or Spain I reckon he’d still score plenty.

So basically Chelsea are in freefall and they have a really tough run of games coming up. They have Lukaku who we know struggles when it matters.

I hope I’m wrong but I think their early season form will be enough to keep them up there.

Well we have so far only dropped 3 points more than them this season and we haven’t been exactly great.

Good positive signs indeed. Plenty to be happy about though. West ham is a very well organized team.

It is a progressive process with a new mgr. Played better.. didn't look shaky.. though didn't create enough chances (to be worked on)

Also it is only the 22nd fixture and not 32nd ...so got a long way to go to get even better

Not disagreeing at all and I believe Chelsea, Tuchel and Lukaku were massively overhyped however the points they picked up early on the fact that their toughest games on paper are behind means they should have enough for 3rd imo.

I’ll kind of forgive us for not creating much. We had a 19, 20 and an almost 37 year old as a front 3 who had only started together once before today.

That was the most comfortable we’ve looked defensively all season.
