A launch would be awesome. The said Kayaking was the day after we went to see a shuttle launch but it was cancelled with like ten minutes to go due to storms moving inNext days weather looked poor so went Kayaking and of course the thing launched
Saw a rocket launch way back with the family in like 86, think it was the first launch after challenger disaster, only a small rocket but it went off course and was detonated as well.
Kind of gutted I never saw a shuttle launch.

Yeah this is an unmanned ship, but would still be good to see nonetheless. I've been to the space centre before (a great day out) so would probably just try and watch from a beach or something.
Where do these space X flights and Branson and the other fellas rockets go from? Not Florida right? Texas maybe. Wouldn't mind trying to see one of those one day.

The only gangster story I have is that I used to play cricket with a member of the Fewtrell family, who owned the clubs in Birmingham and had run ins with the Krays. They were obviously old then and this was one of their sons, but the guy used to really play on it and the captain was scared of dropping him.

We need to cast a hapless character to be my Elliott Ness though yeno makes all the noise but is off the pace and parades around an income tax charge

Depends when the day was. This was probably about 2003/04ish. I was only about 16 or 17 at this point. The son was about 30 I think (but looked about 50 ). I was limited to drinking in Tamworth, as it wasn't worth risking travelling further to not be let in.
Incidentally, at this point everyone in my school thought I was well connected. Not only did I know a few people through cricket, I also was accepted in the bar in town everyone was scared of. My dad used to go and watch the bands there and knew most of the patrons from his school days. When me and my friends used to get kicked out of bars for being underage on a Thursday night, I used to head over and meet my dad, watch the band and have my drinks paid for. All my mates used to go home at this point as they were too scared to go in there.
Good memories tam 😂😂
Nah I'd have been working 97 I think maybe early 98
Wolfie will be writing all this down in his note book.
Jiminez in Mexico, is Hwang fit?
I've lead a very sheltered life compared with you lot.
I met mad Frankie Fraser when I was a Rocker at the mod and rocker riots in Hastings. He invited us to his club.I think he thought we were tough guys. Frightened of offending him so we went. He wasn't there so, sh!ting ourselves, we made our excuses and left.
i always get him and freddie foreman mixed up
If you met him you'd never mix him up with anyone else, believe me.
yeah i can imagine
isnt this a much better conversation than the trannie window
so if you could sign any gangster for the right price at their peak who would it be
Al Capone as manager. Even when Wolves have a transfer prohibition, he'd find a way to get new players in.
Used Barbarella's in my youth so knew Eddie Fewtrell.
Here's the launch from last night. We've had to wait a few days, but finally had lift off. Quite a sight from where we live.

Yeah, nothing to contribute to the gangster conversation. Which is surprising I guess having been brought up in Cannock.
A story I like about Mad Frankie was him getting an asbo for attacking another resident on an old peoples home.
He was 89 at the time.
