People pretty happy then?

************************

He has faced the easiest schedule of games. He could have done better but for now we will take it. He is finally man managing his players.

What he does with Ronaldo will answer a lot of questions in the coming weeks. I still think he has a lot to prove as a manager.

It’s a solid 7/10 so far. We’ve been very lucky in some games to win them and in others we’ve been quite comfortable like the West Ham one. It’s deffo a step up from the mess Ole left behind so hopefully the players can keep going and get 4th as I feel having CL football will be the best gift we can leave the next manager. March is a massive month however so 🤞🏻

Still Fourth doesn't really work if you weren't 4th yesterday

It does if we stayed 4th after the Arsenal and Spurs games

Teams with games in hand but 4th is good and I can finally see improvement in the team.

Always great when someone tries to be smart and makes a fool of themselves.

I'll be really interested to see how you go against Atleti. Two teams that have been pretty poor this season with no fluidity going forward. If Ralf goes out to this Atleti side then there are issues.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We know there are issues. A fair proportion of the team aren't good enough. But good enough to improve, which the results say we are.

I suspect it will be United vs Spurs for fourth ultimately. We have the games in hand, you have a game against us at home. I think it will go to the wire.

You still think it's 'disrespectful' to suggest West Ham will finish 7th this season?

We were 4th yesterday. We went fourth right after the final whistle and today is a new day and we have stayed 4th.

Still favourites for top 4 buddy?

Im happy. Rangnick has a huge task and is slowing getting his ideas across and will hopefully continue to do so during his brief spell before handing the reins to someone else who ideally has a similar idea of how they want this team to develop. I like how he talks too, very open and upfront and seems no issue dropping players if they’re not performing.

Only City have picked up more points in the league over the eight games since Rangnick has been in charge, and he’s progressed in the FA Cup.
-------

We've had the easiest run of fixtures conceivable and managed to make a dog's dinner of several of them.

Hardly an achievement worth bragging about... Carrick with no experience would probably have done as well if not better.

All that being said... I liked the way we played yesterday. Two wins on the bounce with some goals. Some signs of improving confidence and Rashy back in our good graces.

Can't complain about much... Except Ronaldo, who's pretty much a waste of space but can't be dropped

Meet todays tip top moron.

Well our run in the league when Ole was sacked was 5 losses, 1 draw and 1 win so 4 points from 7 league games. Since Ole got sacked Carrick had 2 tough games and got 4 points from 2 games and Rangnick has had 8 league games and got 17 points.

So it is a great rise in points and biggest thing is our expected goals against is usually in the 1 or lower since Ole got the sack.

posted on 24/1/22

To be honest we should have sacked Ole after the Europa League final. His decision making that game was terrible.

posted on 24/1/22

So Ole was averaging 0.57 points per game and Carrick averaging 2 points per game in hard fixtures and Rangnick averaging 2.125 points per game. If Ole didn’t have such a dreadful run we may have been similar place to Liverpool now.

posted on 24/1/22

So Ole side dropped 17 points in his last 7 league games and we had 10 games since and dropped 9 points. Remarkable turnaround really and with better luck we could have had more.
