Clancy Collum and one of the other more high profile referees don't have a game this week

the rota comes out a week before so would've been decided before Rangers letter

which btw is a total embarrassment

Rangers and Celtic benefit from dodgy refereeing decisions more than any other teams in the country.

Players not being 'protected' by officials is worrying.
Don Robertson has failed to award red cards to three players who have warranted them when playing against Celtic. Maybe other teams have suffered similar?

MJ going somewhere on loan is essential.

Rangers complaining about the Aberdeen game is laughable.

Meada needs to be played through the middle, he's not very effective on the wing.

Maeda is going to be away so it was important to get GG minutes i think, but otherwise yeah, i think best through middle.

Apparently Kyogo could be out for several weeks, not clear exactly how many, but could be a long time.

Calmac got a sore one the other night, any news on him?

good thing about Maeda is despite not looking as good out wide as he does through the middle, he still could've had a hat trick

i worry when they don't know how long he will be out for tbh, it means they don't know the extent of the injury.

i like maedas workrate thus far, but i think kyogo is a superior player.

i'd expect at least a month for mcgregor tbh.

i'd play julien against united at the weekend btw.

And tunisia done the gers a favour, aribo back sooner than expected.

Only midfielder rangers have that is different, can dribble, burst forward and score goals.

thats lucky for rangers, as is roofe not being good enough for jamaica.

Maeda would be a nightmare to play against, never stops and chases everything, harries opposition players, he's stronger than Kyogo and looks more robust, but Kyogo is better technically I think.

Gutted for Kyogo and Calmac, I think we tend to take McGregor for granted sometimes. He is Mr. Consistant and puts in a shift every game, hope he gets well soon.

GG took his goal well, but he looks kinda awkward..

I always seen th Kyogo sceanrio as Ange not wanting to give anything away as to whether he will be back in time for game, Prior to signing Maeda Ange disclosing if Kyogo would be fit would be a big indicator a to how celtic will play.

you think Kyogo will be good enough for a japan call up?

if he was fit defo.

jamaica have better players than roofe just now, i'm sure.

If you want to blame anyone for Kyogo it has to be Ange.

He came out and said that the medical team were advising him to play Kyogo. But he got desperate and started him, was it 15 mins before he had to come of. And has now most likely worsened the injury and set him back longer.

You think the japan manager will just ignore the experts who say Kyogo is not fit?

i think kyogo will be out for a significant period tbh, they don't seem to have a firm grasp on the issue.

Good chance Ange will still play him in OF

i don't think so tbh, would be too much to risk.

it depends how GG does tbh, but when you watch kyogo and maeda work at a fast pace and persistently pressing and then you watch GG and ajeti its like its in slow motion.

risk smisk, Ange cont give a castlemine about risk, doesnt listen to experts, he is his own man. If he wants Kyogo to play he will play just like the last time.

They would have, ranked at an impressive 57th in the world.

To put that into perspective, Scotland are 38th and Japan are 26th.

Therefore, using science, we can prove that Roofe is 26/57 or 0.456 if you prefer, as good as Kyogo.

Can’t argue with the numbers I’m afraid.

Rangers firm favourites now -

We will be fine though , we have good players to cover good players

maeda being out is sore with Kyogo already not available but weve played these fixtures with MJ and Morgan playing upfront so its nothing new .

Wednesday is a big game for us , a must win

GG is just a big bulldozer with no real intricacy to his game ...but that will work if we build a game around that

---------------------------------------------

Maybe - maybe not.

Players make mistakes, managers make mistakes, Referees make mistakes.

Rangers and Celtic dominate more games, attack more and spend more time in the opposition's penalty box.

The biggest factor is the ridiculous amount of analysis which comes with any big decision which either goes for/against Rangers or Celtic.

The Porteous tackle against Aribo is a case in point.

A referee sees it once and that's it.

We argued about it on here and we all probably watched the tackle many times, in slow motion and from different angles and we've a cheek to second guess* someone who's seen it once in the heat of a 'battle'.

*by second guess I mean abuse, insult, intimidate, threaten and accuse them of being Masons; Knights of Columbus or fookin class 3 Wiccans.

Who did Celtic beat in the 4th round the year they did the quadruple treble? Exactly no one gives a monkeys fart, it’s simply rounds you get out the way, by hook or by crook you do all you can to get to Hampden and the day out👍

we dont !!
