All the criticism and crying about VAR by klopp is starting to pay off

Only copying old whiskey nose he had it off to a tee
This was a poor effort, there's so many more cutting remarks that could have been added to this OP.

2 Jan 2022 — The VAR official for Liverpool's game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge was changed before the game following a Jurgen Klopp rant.
----------
Is it any wonder livarpool are getting penalty decisions like yesterday
See... this is what i mean by a poor wumming effort. all the follow ups look sad and frustrated and are just getting laughed at.
You have to grind the gears, grab something that will get a reaction and some LFC fan hoping up and down. Maybe sink into matip being total rubbish or VVD is fat or something. There was plenty of ammo there. henderson is old and slow etc etc.
Just gonna leave this here..

Yup, Everton got a penalty for that.
Let's be honest, if Alisson had come sliding out on his knees, and made contact with a Palace player, and plucky Palace had gotten a draw, would anyone have given the first feck?
Whenever Liverpool are involved in situations that happen routinely, it becomes the breaking point, investigations are called for, the sky falls in. 😅
As for Ambrose, he's talking utter nonsense. 🙂

I think there is a 'big club' bias when it comes to these decisions. If that incident had been the other way round, I highly doubt Palace would have got the penalty decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Palace, like pretty much every other team in this league, have benefitted from ridiculous decisions.
Difference is, when Palace are awarded a dubious penalty, nobody gives the first feck.

Indeed.
And Alan Shearer said the Everton player had every right to go down.
3 weeks later, he said Salah was waiting for contact, and dived.
VAR is as inconsistent as the views of fans and pundits, so maybe VAR is no more than fans deserve. 🙂

You could argue that Liverpool are effectively fielding two teams every week, one in red, one in black
---------------------
I don’t think it was a pen personally. Keeper was out of control, but equally so too was Jota with the ball and looked to make contact with the keeper as a result. Liverpool would have most likely still won had there not been a penalty but the goal did make the remaining minutes a lot easier for Liverpool.
Interestingly the same ref didn’t give a pen for a very similar incident a few weeks ago when Cancelo and the Newcastle keeper clashed.

Or... the scheduled official at the Leeds game was ill and so due to geography and the fact the VAR official from the Chelsea v Liverpool game hadn't officiated that weekend he was brought in to take over the Leeds game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. People on here love a conspiracy theory though, don't spoil it for them with facts.
The first question is was it a foul? It obviously was as the keeper clattered into him and didn't take the ball. The second question is whether Jota had lost control of the ball. This is difficult to answer, even with VAR. Therefore the original decision should have stood. No clear and obvious error.

I am an ardent Liverpool FC fan, daft in the extreme about my club.
That penalty should not have been given. He’ll be watched now by match officials as a diver.
That’s his fault entirely.
Jota was lucky to escape a yellow card

It’s all part of a PL plan to make the league tighter and more interesting. Give the top clubs favourable decisions, as it generates more revenue. No one wants to watch city walk away with it
