Blimey, are we getting the old gang back together here at the end of days? First 666, now Mostyn. Who's next? Marco, Backo? I always had a fondness for Colbi and his tennis racket but he wasn't everybody's cup of tea as I recall.

One last hurrah before the comet hits? Say it ain't so. Somebody tell me when it's safe to look up.

666 and now Mostyn!

Something very Arthurian here. In Derby's darkest hour of need legends from the past return etc. etc.

Talking of the 'old gang', does anyone know what's happened to 3R?

Personally, I think they've all just been sent out as 'a distraction'

As much as it disgusts me to agree with you, I’d not only pick Ashley from that list, he’d be my ideal if we aren’t to be annexed by some oil-rich Sheikh.

He’s not left Newcastle worse off than he found them, he was a sensible owner who didn’t get carried away with ego or heed the crowds too much, and he knows the game.

I don’t like the American investor model as seen at United and Liverpool, and I think above all we now need a period of stability for the club. I’d take it rather than fold obviously, but I’m not convinced that they understand the game here.

I’m not sure a Rangers fan is in any position to give us advice on owners.

Personally I’d have Ashley in a heartbeat, as 666 said Newcastle fans are like entitled surfers, we need stability and with the 3 groups mentioned, he fits the bill as Appleby has history and binnies should be just that, binned.

Or in the perfect position as we have been where you are and as you guys are now were happy to let Ashley invest at first until it became clear what he was doing. He couldn't care less about saving the club, whatever offers him most bang for his buck is what he will do.

It's been 5/6 years since he had to be forced out of the club and we're still paying him off. The guy is a leech, he agreed something like a 7 year sponsorship with sports direct for peanuts because he could so when he was ousted he still had a mega retail deal.

The PB announcement has been put on hold whilst the Met investigates the EFL.

Same answer as when we were asked before christmas.
No favourite from me.
Just want the club saved and we go from there.

And now it seems the FA will want a slice from our non-existent pie (according to Hackett) for the fracas after the Florest game. Forest's pie to be reduced also.

Let's hope Grabban's assault on Thompson is dealt with as well.

Both teams failed to control their players, a fine for both will happen.

Grabban received a yellow, which was appropriate.

As the ref. saw the offence and took wholly inappropriate action Chicago, there is nothing more that will be done.

Cunning Plan

If TL has to go to save us Could we do a deal with the buying club that we novate ( fancy legal term for moving an undertaking on ) the compo claims of the smoggies and Wycombe to the buyer . The novation of the risk = the fee

That way we get the mafia style claims off our back . The fee as such was always going to be small in cash terms . The buyer pays nothing initially and hires a £20 an hour lawyer to blow the claims out of the water . TL gets a crack at getting promotion . TL becomes a club legend for taking the hit to save the club … thereby making up for past indiscretions .

You might say this is fantasy legal stuff ,,, but The Smoggies started down that line .. so ggkktyorrpy to them

I declare myself a genius to have come up with a plan so cunning, you could cut your hand off with it !

Ps FTEFL
