The common sense move would be to loan him out and bring in a DM. Then bring VDB back in when we get a new manager and see how they assess him.

I read that as well but considering martial, axel went and bailey is close to gone maybe lingard too that's not really true but unsurprising given this board, also its a loan he'd be back in summer with the new gaffer

He needs to leave and get his career back on track. He's an established international player who was an important player in a team who were trading blow for blow with some of the best teams in Europe in the CL.

Exactly, but the wannabe poolmyfinger is not that clued up.

Baffling that he’s not been given a run of games to establish himself when he’s clearly better than McT. I feel like he’s been used as a scapegoat for poor results when he has played, even though he’s barely put a foot wrong.

it will take injuries for him to get a prolonged run of games, but when he does, im confident he will prove his worth.

Maybe he's not better than McT in relation to the specific demands that successive managers place on the midfield two.

I actually think if we continue with the 4-3-3 formation for an extended run of games, we finally have a situation where he isn't a square peg for a round hole. VDB's specialist skill is ghosting around in the spaces between midfield and attack, and arriving late in the box.

1. Poolmyfinger is from the opposite side of the political spectrum to me. So you have got that horribly wrong as usual. Fool.

2. I quite like Beekers as a player but he just has not shown it for us when given the chance.

What I will say is that, imo, he hasn’t been given a run of games to be fairly judged on either. But he has to do more when given a chance.

You can’t blame United for ruining his career when he has hardly helped himself,

That would be stupid. Which is exactly where you come in cloggy clown.
