He's not the same Ronnie I remember in the late 1990's & 2000's he would have swatted this kid away back then.. Ronnie isn't as consistant as he used to be..

I think that's 6 defeats in his last 7 finals. It is surprising but he will more than likely win a few more titles.

Father time dude, the fact he, Higgins and Williams still get to the business end speaks volumes

Problem is, he is consistently losing to the big players but he has now lost 2 finals to the likes of brown and this kid which is worrying
Ronnie deserved to lose that one. Once it got to 8-8, Ronnie hardly put any pressure on Fan and gifted the 17th frame, gifted the 18th too but the young lad felt the pressure, then played a very average final frame.
Fan played well and good safety towards the end, but I felt Ronnie didn’t make him work for it at all.
Ronnie usually has a great record in deciders and in finals, but recently been pretty disappointing
The one where he opened the pack would have been genius if the pink dropped though.
Fine margins
The problem was he wasn’t even close to potting the pink.
I love when Ronnie goes for his shots, but when opened all the reds, to miss the pink by that much and leave the whole table on, just seemed too careless to me, especially when the opposing player was really feeling it and momentum looked to be shifting.
Yeah I agree with you, I was cussing to
His mental state is so up and down, even one frame to the next these days, he looked shot then comes back and bangs in a century
Lol yes completely agree with you. You never can tell these days if he’s in control of a match.
He’s won plenty in his career, so not overly upset about today, but just wish he was a bit more ruthless on days like these.
Agreed with you all... A few years ago Ronnie wouldn't have lost to that kid or Brown last year... Not a chance... Ronnie won't stay around too long if he can't play well enough, saying that, what happened to the rest of the top 16? I suppose he's showing consistancy!
Yes so true, I think the last 2 seasons Ronnie has been quite disappointing yet he’s around World Number 2. So many players out of form. Ronnie has been consistent, but if he can find that extra gear, that would be great.

Robbo v Trump
4-2 to Trump right now (best of 9)
Trump will murder Perry if that’s the final
