Did just read a article in the Spanish press saying it’s Barca’s intention to sign Traore permanently at the end of his loan. He’s expected to make his debut for them this weekend against Athletico Madrid. Vital game as the teams are 4th and 5th in the league and only the top 4 qualify for the champions league.
But for signings even before summer, when are Wolves going to agree a new contract or not with Saiss and Moutinho. Only 5 months until they are free agents
Barcelona couldn't get rid of their 126m signing Ousmane Dembélé. Now they have 8 forwards all vying for a starting spot.
Newcastle have done what some on here wanted and splashed out 145m on 5 new signings. Let's see how that works out.
I hope they offer both of them a new contract DJ.
According to Transfermkt, there are 8 teams with a smaller squad than us, including Arsenal with 21.
I hope that Moulden gets game time at Ebsfleet, simply because they signed another 'keeper in the summer. They lost 0-1 to Dartford tonight. Not sure who was between the posts.
Chris Haigh, the 'keeper Ebbsfleet got in the summer was between the sticks.
That was a local derby and a near top of table clash, have had work connections with Ebbsfleet and seen them play at home many times, they seem to be slipping a bit, Moulden not named as sub maybe he is injured
Only just joined, probably hardly even trained with them yet. Non league teams don’t have the infrastructure like league teams. He’s probably spent the last week looking for a flat in the area
Agreed, although Ebbsfleet are unusual and have Kuwaiti money behind them, they built a new stand several years ago at a cost unusual for that level
Yes I remember them having some success and getting to the National League. Seems like they have some chance of getting back there again this season
It seems unfair if Moulden went to a club at that level and didn’t get games but then it seems unfair on the other keeper they signed recently if he loses his place. I know Moulden is rated very highly by the academy staff and I suspect in agreeing to him going to a non league team that there will be a guarantee of him getting starts
Traore is training with Barcelona towards his potential debut at the weekend against Athletico Madrid. The President of the club has assured him that he is very much part of their plans beyond the summer
Let’s hope they work out the best way to get the most from him
Jimenez has now recovered from his calf injury and hopes to start for Mexico in their World Cup qualifier at home to Panama. This game kicks off at 3am on Thursday morning uk time. Even if he proves his fitness it’s highly unlikely he will appear for Wolves on Saturday after the long flight back here
I don’t think he is quite ready yet. But Wolves are very cagey on fitness issues
I would imagine the front 3 on Saturday will be Trincao, Fabio and Podence
Sounds right ,good test for them
