Over the last few years our trajectory is definitely upwards.

As a West Ham fan, I can't and won't defend it. He should have been dropped tonight and kicked out the club for bringing the team into disrepute.

Great defender, but obviously a complete w#nker.

I am pretty sure it is not the end of it but if he were dropped the next question would be what has changed to allow him to play again because they are not waving bye to £30-40m, right?

RSPCA will act then possibly police if referred. I suspect his bigger problem will be with his missus who's cats they likely are given his distaste for them?

Over the last few years ? Actually a modest 6th last year and around the same after half a season this year. That is one and a half years, not a few.

Plus all that reasonably ok good work destroyed tonight by your club's support of animal abuse.

Fack off you absolute clown.

Now that West Ham have improved they are finding out that they can’t take the moral high ground like previous and have to compromise themselves like everyone else in the name of progress.

No more bollox please about the “sky6” getting decisions, the reprehensibleness of the super league, etc. Your club has openly supported an animal abuser, there is no grey area, we’ve all seen the footage - West Ham have chosen to support the animal abuser.

No doubt if it was a Spurs player that did it then everyone in the media would be calling for the player to be banned from football, and they would definitely condemn us like there was no tomorrow if we let him play.

But because it's west ham and not Spurs, the media will no doubt give them a free ride as usual and harp on about how great west ham are, even though they haven't won anything in living memory. The media bias against Spurs is just a complete joke.

Will be interesting to see what Martin Samuel says, I can’t see him defending the club over this

I think it’s fair to say West Ham decided points were more important than morals.

Moyes said it was his job to win the game last night so picked Kurt the khunt because he was better than Diop

Listening to some West Ham fans on the radio this morning they were unhappy he was picked and a sponsorship expert thought it will backfire on them.

Money always wins in football now sadly.

West Ham would likely have been the neutrals team to finish top 4 before this incident but that has gone now. All the good work Moyes has done at the club is undone with one utterly tone deaf decision.

Have Spurs fans got huge chips on their shoulders or are the media really biased against them?

If the media is anti Spurs an interesting question is why? I know some fans will say antisemitism, but at least in the example given above, Martin Samuel, that can clearly isn't the case.

yesterday was poor but it wasnt a game in hand. games in hand happen when you play but the teams you have games in hand on (like west ham) dont.

our games in hand are burnley away, brighton away, arsenal at home... 5 points is realistic

Honest question, I think West Ham have the 4th best starting 11 in the league this season.

Spurs, Man U etc have stronger squads.

?

I agree our first 11 is better than both. We have no depth though. I can't see us getting top 4
