At home we have done ok but not away

Amazing isn’t it? Only last week I was thinking how great it was to be looking forward to watching spurs again. Now it’s like wiping my kids ass, it’s something unavoidable that I have do with zero fun involved whatsoever and more than a little disgust.

Not even sure I'm gonna bother watching. What's the point?

It's almost a free hit? expectations are that City will win and handsomely but football throws curve balls all the time.

When you expect to get beat then even a draw would be a great result and as I said who knows what will unfurl Saturday, they might have a rare off day, get a man sent off, Spurs might click and play really well

Oh indeed, I agree that the odds are STACKED mate but as a Celtic fan I can remember a couple of draws against City, granted a few years back but I had expected a pumping both times?

That's the thing. It's not even fun watching us anymore. Lately I've decided to watch our games an hour behind so I can fast forward through bits of it. It keeps the agony down.

At least when you lose regularly you get used to the feeling. When it started happening more frequently a couple of years back I was angry. Now I just let off an inevitable shrug. The pain gets easier to deal with.

You just become numb to it.

I would take a 1-0 defeat but we all know the scenario by now its well reherrsed and burned into our minds....

Conte - the lads have trained hard all week and are up for this game.

Players such as Hugo, Kane, Dier - the lads are together and focussed we need work harder and stop makig silly errors.

Matchday - Our bottle jobs will enter the pitch waving the whte flag and will be 2-0 down after 10mins. Expect hammering.

Reality - Conte does not know what to do with lot and its starting to show now. He got his run of results early doors most of which wer fortunate. Now he clueless with this bunch as any other manager would be.

Players - not interestred, talk the talk but cannot deliver it on the pitch. it will be a no show from our so called world class players as usual and comedy defendig as usual.

as I say I really do hope I am made to eat my words ... I really do. I dare the players to proive me wrong.

Conte could be bang in trouble soon. We have a run of four away games coming up...

City, Burnley, Leeds and Middlesborough.

With the way we're currently playing it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could lose all four. That would be 7 straight defeats and we'd probably be looking at the bottom half of the table.

They're all tough games against teams that work very, very hard which is where we tend to come unstuck.

Come the end of the season Conte might be pushed before he walks. We're seeing signs that his heart just isn't in it already. I think if he gets offered a CL club position, he's walking anyway. How much faith can you have in a man that's constantly 'looking at other women'.

If Lloris can make simple catches of the ball an not lamely punch it back into the danger zone,

and If Sanchez can stay on his feet, and not be Bambie on ice for once (if he plays),

and if Winks and Doherty are nowhere near the matchday squad,

and if the real Sonny turns up on the day,
