Has a Remi Gard feel to it, think he will take you down.
Jonty won't be happy.
Tbf I think it's a risky one for a short term survival job.
Fat Sam to keep you up, then decide is the only sensible choice.

Absolutely no chance. The owners have been stung with expecting a new manager bounce before. I'd be gobsmacked if they weren't looking longer term.
^^^ Plus I doubt the owners want to sit through the $hite fat Sam would serve up.
Staying up right now is more important. I'd suck it up for a bit if it meant survival, then a better choice at the end of it.

It didn't work out last time.
We didn't sign enough players in the Summer and then refused to address it in the winter. It didn't need to come to this ..... at all
weve seen it with warnock first hand.
no matter what, i never want the likes of fat sam, warnock or pulis anywhere near my club.
the stench they leave at clubs, takes years to clear
Agree on keeping Fat Sam, etc., out at all costs BUT does Marsch have the experience to dig us out of the hole?
It's going to be some feat if he can do it cos we are now well and truly in the scheisse.
We need to get behind the new manager and back him, its a place in the championship and a trip to Rotherham if we don't. A lot of teams get a new manager bounce and we NEED that against Villa and especially Norwich in 3 games time. Marsch likes high pressing and high intensity football so its a far cry from a Pulis or Big Sam appointment. Like it or lump it, lets stay up and ask questions later
Funnily enough just came across this on Facebook.
Just received this from one of the Devon Whites lads:
Whole situation to me smacks of 49ers influence.....
They wanted Marsch to be installed in the Summer and told Orta to sign players that Marsch wanted (eg Minamino and Aaronson both played for him previously).. Bielsa refused and wanted to carry on with his squad.
49ers now panicking and worried about relegation which would seriously devalue their investment and ordered Radz to install "their" man immediately. Radz forced with no alternative but to accept, putting him in a win-win situation as if the "49er" coach takes us down, it is their fault and if we stay up, he sells and gets top dollar for the Club.
Kinnear was against Bielsa's sacking and will resign soon, hence his "disappearance" from yesterday's match day programme.

This makes a lot of sense to me… who knows?
i can actually see the players liking the new man, similar ideas to bielsa.
i think were going to be ok
Still can't really believe it. There's a lot of unbelievable stuff going on right now. The universe has shifted on its axis.

Very very worried about American ownership now, if that's true about Kinnear.
I heard Kinnear is resigning. No programme notes this week.
Bielsa was already going regardless of spurs result. USA demanded action and marsche was already agreed.

I've read that he has a lot of similarities such as high press and high intensity. Apparently likes 2 up top though which will be nice. Wonder if no murderball impacts the energy levels and effectiveness of our players.
Not sure I'm keen on yank interference from above though ....
I’ll give him a chance but would have loved the chance to say a proper goodby to Bielsa.
He’s the same age as me but somehow I feel like I’ve lost my favourite uncle today.
I’ll be backing the lads at the next home game and cheering them on from my armchair this Saturday.
Unlike other mangers, even Wilco, the loss of Bielsa feels personal. That makes it harder to bear, even though I knew in my heart, once Stuey missed that chance on Saturday, that Bielsaball was done. He has given us so much more than football. Above everything it is the humility of the man that shines through. We are very fortunate to have had him in our lives.
We must unite again; there have been increasingly strong views shared on here in recent weeks. Bar one or two, all of us are Leeds fans. Myself, I have followed Leeds for over 40 years since I was 7 years old, and as many others, have done so from wherever I’ve been on the world.
I don’t think any of us think this has been handled in the right way one bit. It was plain wrong.
Regarding Angus Kinnear, we don’t know the reasons.
I’m guessing the 49ers owner has his own plans, and this plans don’t include Kinnear. We’ll find out in time no doubt.
Right now, its about the 12 games we have left. I am sure we can and will do it.
I am sure becuase every one of our players has the pride and determination to donut for Marcelo, if for no other reason.
A lot of talk about Red Bull some years back.
I truly hope this is not a precursor to Red Bull coming on board.
I was watching a lot of Marsch videos last night and I must admit his tactics sound okay. Just hope he gets to work very quickly and the fans and players take to him.
