Predictive text really does have some weird suggestions for spelling the word Stourbridge.

Jokes aside though, what Klopp have achieved here, managing to stand toe to toe with City is miraculous.

The fact that we still managed to finish 3rd last season whilst one injury away from having to do a ballot amongst season ticket holders to find a centre back is incredible in itself.

If we can win one of the big ones this season, Klopp has to be up there with Paisley and Shanks in the very very highest tier of Liverpool managers.

He has done something that we wouldn't have dreamt of before his arrival.

When he came in, you hope he can bring us some success, you are even confident he will but never in a million years did I expect what we have now.

We are without doubt 1 of the best 3 teams in the world and have been for 3 years now. Thats juat an insane turnaround. The quality of player in the squad is so high that not only klopp but the scouting dept need huge praise for the work they do. Ive never really known a team to get it right time and time again when in comes to player purchases. Our latest one, what a player he looks btw. Relentless yesterday.

We have to make sure somehow we dont fack this up when he eventually goes. Thats the big challenege. Hes put us in position to compete for years to come.

He's done and is doing an incredible job without doubt.
Crazy to see any club competing with City while having to actually worry about balancing the books

You do feel Klopp is just the centre point of it all but the team behind him deserve just as much praise, that much is correct.

I'm excited by Liverpool 2.0 with Jota, Diaz, Konate, Tsimikas, Kelleher, Jones and Elliot.

If we signed St Maximin or Raphinha that would allow Jota to stay central. That would be excellent.

I don't think though that Gordon or Jones will be a mainstay of our midfield.

We still have a minimum of 3 strong seasons with VVD, Salah, Allison, Fab, Robbo at there very best.

If we forget about revenues and such which are FSG's purview (but equally acknowledge the MINOR losses form the most disastrous season in English football since WWII)

We should be thinking that it is utterly amazing that we now stand with the best overall squad at least I have seen in probably 30 years.

It is certainly the first time that we can compete on 4 fronts.

The squad depth, morale and how it goes about its business without too much flopping about and shouting the odds for cards etc is much better than watching a lot of European sides like atletico or cheslea at times.

For me though to lose only 4mil over the worst affected covid season but add thaigo, konate, jota, elliott and now diaz while not losing anyone has pushed the squad along amazingly.

2 players for every position and not "dregs" that nobody would play is great. Our second string with firmino and mane (possibly) would be top half in the prem, maybe even top 6.

Kelleher
Bradley Gomez Konate Tsimikas
elliott Milner Jones
Ox Firmino Mane

ok midfield is weaker but i'm even ignoring keita there.

If we were to freshen up the midfield this summer..... using the find coming available.. well we can extend this run.

A good solid box to box/ no 6 would be marvellous. (or develop morton)

Selling players to buy others. Can work.

Not every manager is capable of it though
