Big game for MGW tonight as Blades meet Forest. Two form teams trying to break into the play off positions. Should be a good watch

I saw Warney play quite a few times in the flesh including an ODI at Bristol on a corporate thing which I can hardly remember a thing about, think Aussies won. But the abiding memory was him hitting his own wicket on the Sunday morning at Edgbaston in 2005 just when he and Brett Lee looked like they would see the game out.

Only this morning I saw his tweet about Rod Marsh, another great player. RIP Warney.

Predictably Bruno was quizzed in his press conference today about whether Neto will play tomorrow. He said the player had come through recent sub appearances fine and is feeling no pain. But he wouldn’t commit to saying whether he would start tomorrow or not. What he did say is that Neto, Jonny and Boly are all just coming back after long injuries and we certainly couldn’t start off the game with three players that may not last 90 minutes

This loans doing him the world of good

Might be the best loan we have seen one of ours have.

Be interesting to see how the club shows support for Ukraine tomorrow, if they show any at all.

My team and I stress MY team not a prediction as to what Bruno will do:
Sa
Jonny, Kilman, Coady, Saiss, Ait-Nouri
Moutinho, Neves
Podence, Jimenez, Neto

I would love to start Boly but as the gaffer says starting 3 players coming back from injury is not an option. I do think Boly is a better defender than Saiss but to be fair Romain has done well in Boly's absence. I do think it's important to start with some real fire power up front even if they have to be subbed later in the game. Jonny, for me is nailed on. Hoever is just way off the pace and not an option for tomorrow.

That is the line up I would go with Gem

I would have thought they would, given Kilman's family are from there.

Yeah would think so for sure but with China making some kind of point i wonder if Fosun would be under any pressure.

News finally emerging about the lesser spotted Shabani who suffered a cruciate ligament injury playing in his debut for Wolves back in 2020. After recovering from that he went on loan to Dutch top flight club Venlo in 2021 but after a handful of games he suffered a recurrence of the same injury. Sounds like a similar scenario to Jonny. He is now hoping to be back training with Wolves in April

Wolves qualified for the last 8 of the PL2 cup last night with a 1-0 win at Wigan. Another goal for Chem Campbell

West Ham and Man Utd have opened up a gap on us in the league but the Hammers play at Anfield and Utd at City this weekend so a win against Palace could put us back on their heels. Then on Thursday we play Watford at Molineux which is our game in hand on those two. Right back in the Europa league picture if we could get 6 points

That Roberto Carlos game ended in a 4-3 defeat for the pub team he played for in Shropshire yesterday. The great man came off the bench to convert a late penalty. After the game he went back to the pub for a wee beer accompanied by Chris Kamara
