How is that going to happen, he is selling because his country is committing genocide on one of it's neighbours, he is a supporter of that psychopath Putin and is worried he will get his assets frozen. None of the money will go to his countries victims in Ukraine. He should be kicked out, filthy human being.

When Whelan talked about how he moved and his security u can see he lives a totally different life to everyone bar a handful of Russian billionaires.
He loves Chelsea now but it was always a means to make sure he couldn't just go missing.

Call me a cynic but a man who has stolen £10bn off the Russian state aided and abetted by Putin agrees to kinda forego £1.5bn of said money to save his skin and likely numerous other nefarious reasons linked right back to his criminal circle?

Make no mistake he doesn't want to live in Israel or Russia or any other hole that will accept him. He wants to lord it round the world on his superyacht / jet whatever and live off those proceeds and not be a high profile target once the eventual revolution overthrows those oligarchs. A coward.
