Be handy if you missed the next one just in case you have been the problem all along

I second that HCTL. In fact if you and Tam could just stay away for the rest of the season we just might make Europe after all

10 games left this season and only 3 against teams above us
They are Liverpool, Chelsea and City though

Would say we need at least four wins from the ten and a few draws to have a chance of Europe or improving our position.

What a fabulous performance. Watford were poor but we punished them and we haven’t been able to say that often this season. Good performances throughout the team. Jonny and Boly like they’ve never been away. Ait Nouri such an improvement on Marcal. Much better from Raul and Podence. And Neves was just Neves.

Encouraging link ups between Jonny and Podence on the right. Then in the second half Neto coming on and looking like his old self and linking well with Ait Nouri. Neto will be back as a regular in no time.

And all crowned by Wolves goal of the season

Well what can I say, entertainment at the molineux. Comedy by Mr Benjamin Foster, graceful movement from Mr Daniel Podence, a dash of Mexican spice from señor Raul Jimenez, and the sublime sensual artistry of Ruben Neves to finish off the performance.

And a couple of pints in the Lych for the first time since gawd knows when to cap off a cracking evening.

I'm also likely to miss it as I have family visiting.

4-0 again then

Obviously Bruno's threat of dropping any regular starters that don't give 100% worked it's magic. What a totally different performance from the Palace game just 5 days earlier.
Absolutely delighted to see Willy Boly back. He started cautiously, obviously not wanting to make any silly mistakes but got more adventurous as the game went on,
Jimenez makes such a difference I don't want to ever see us start a game without him again.
Jonny and RAN are a massive upgrade on Hoever and Marcal and with Podence, Neto and Whang all working hard and causing all kinds of problems for defenders, Jimenez has the players around him to start scoring regularly again.
Neves and Moutinho are just a fantastic pairing when they are both on form, They bossed the midfield last night against a Watford 3 man midfield who never got a look in.
The back 3 did their their jobs without fuss and I feel sorry for Sa who apart from punching the ball out from a corner, had nothing to do and must have been shivering with the cold.

With Jonny able to play on either side, when Semedo is back we have our rotation in wing backs and should be able to rest any one of them without a drop in quality.

Real boost to have Jonny, Boly and Neto back to add to a squad that have took us to 8th without them. And Chiquinho looks a good wild card to use from the bench. Bruno finally has genuine selection dilemmas when everyone is available and the opportunity to rotate.

Watford didn’t make it hard for us primarily by not pressing in our half so the defenders were rarely under pressure and Neves and Moutinho had time on the ball. But what was good was how we punished them and no doubt having Jonny and Ait Nouri as wing backs was a massive step up compared to Hoever and Marcal in the last couple of games. Raul doesn’t attack balls in the air in the same way he did before his injury but the quality of his centre forward play still makes him an essential part of the team. My only negative on the night was Hwang who continues to underwhelm me. Did well to contribute to the first goal but did little else. No brainer to replace him with Neto whose game was clearly coming together in the latter stages.

Clean sheets AND goals is a nice combination. Let’s hope that’s a sign of what’s to come

Have to say the press stories saying Neves could be available for £40m are laughable. When you look at some of the players that have cost more than that he is surely worth double that amount. No exaggeration to say he is one of the best midfield players in the Premier League.

He won no end of tackles in midfield last night, his distribution to the wing backs was impeccable, and he looks more mobile this season and is becoming more of a box to box player.

And that goal was just sensational. Memories of a chipped goal Cantona scored for Utd many years ago

Neves hands down has to be in the £80m bracket.... not just for his absolute quality, it's the cost of replacing him also, as there's not many midfielders that play his role these days, he's our Pirlo and without exaggeration

I'm sure we could come to some arrangement to make it worth your while to stay away for an extended time ?
Say till when we've qualified for the CL

Romain Saiss turned down the offer of an extended contract last summer and his current contract expires at the end of June. Wolves have evidently now made him a final offer of an extension but the player is looking to be made up to being in line with the best paid players at the club. It seems he already has offers from clubs in Europe and beyond if he decides to move on

As far as I'm concerned all senior first teamers should be paid the same. They are members of a team, the win as a team, they lose as a team and they should be paid as a team.

Not really but it seems like common sense to me. Put all players on the same basic flat rate then introduce a goal bonus and an assist bonus for all players and a clean sheet bonus for the keeper and defenders. That should focus their concentration

Not really gem. If we paid Neves the same as Marcal or Hwang he’d be off to Man Utd tomorrow. He is worth £80m and the others £10m for a reason. And good defending and attacking is something the whole team contributes towards not just the back 3 and the guy that puts the ball in the net
