Neves was brilliant at times in the second half

I was surprised to see the return of Kilman. I thought his head was gone, because of everything going on in Ukraine. It is great to see him making a solid return. Hopefully it continues.

Jonny showing form is huge with the loss of Semedo. Keep going lads.

Kilman makes a lot of sideways and backward passes to Coady. Every now and then he makes a foray towards the opposition half. I wish he would do it more often because he's very comfortable on the ball and his pass accuracy is generally pretty good.

Pretty sure I saw a better match this afternoon, 4-4 after extra time and our lads won the shoot out

Dropped the other half off in Stone so she could meet her mate for a coffee, hadn't told her about it being a cup match and the possibility of ET and pens so you can imagine she was pretty p!$$ed off when we picked her up not only 40m minutes late but after another wolves win over her beloved Everton

The only highlight is Coady's goal which a cracker with a sublime assist from Neves. Nothing much else to see.

No pleasing some <lol>

I thought we were excellent for a second game in 4 days, away from home to a hostile crowd (in the 1st half) more like an exhibition game in the 2nd half where their players were happy to just watch a Neves masterclass...they should have been charged the entrance fee !

The win is all that counts, well done lads.
It must be frustrating for teams playing us, we are so solid at the back.

lets face it, substance has outweighed style just about all season so it is hard to complain now when it has got us this far.

I'd rather say consistency has outweighed style. I reckon Everton have players who, on their day have better collective quality than us. What we have is players who can put in 7/10 performances most weeks. Everton's lads might put in the odd 8 or 9 performance but they probably average 4s and 5s over the season.

Ok, the Arsenal games I kind of expected we'd nick a point from one of those and we really should have in the home one.

Those Palace & West Ham results really knackered up our chances of Europe. If we can get back to the sort of form that took us to 8th we can still nick a Euro spot for sure but those results made it much harder. I reckon we're going to have to get something from either Chelsea, Man City or Liverpool which are the toughest fixtures we have remaining. The others are all winnable but we're bound to drop points here and there. I reckon we'll get another 15 points from the remaining fixtures which will give us 58, I doubt that will be enough for 6th. So we probably need one of the top 6 to win the FA Cup and overtake ANother for 7th.

Not sure what happens if West Ham win the Europa and finish 5th or 6th. The Europa slot would go to 6th place if a top six club wins the FA cup, the conference slot would go to 7th due to Liverpool winning the EFL cup, but would West Ham's Europa League slot for finishing 5/6 move down to 7th & the conference slot to 8th? I dont think it does, I suspect we lose a Europa slot and gain a Champions league one. Still with me?

Everton were just crazy nervy i thought. The crowd were awful and made it impossible for them at times, even first half when they were the better side the fans were ready to boo and tut and sigh. If they went down i wouldn't mind taking Richarlison.

It was disappointing not to get anything from those Arsenal games and we certainly didn’t deserve to lose both of them. But we’ve made a great recovery from three successive defeats with a 4-0 home win and a comfortable 1-0 away win. Good controlled performance today. Everton started brightly and their crowd were right behind them. But we frustrated them and assumed control and that exposed their lack of confidence that goes with their league position. Once the first quarter of an hour were over there was only one team going to win it. Lots of quality on show particularly from Neves but also from Jimenez, Jonny and Podence, and Dendoncker did well and justified his selection. The back three were solid again and it was a pleasure to see us looking every inch a top half team.

West Ham are one point above us and Spurs can go level with them if they beat Brighton midweek. But we are guaranteed to go above both of them into 6th if we beat Leeds on Friday. Then we can sit back and see how they get on against each other on Sunday

Uefa have announced that Wolves, as well as Porto, have satisfied the conditions placed on them for breaking their terms of FFP and can now go forward without any penalties hanging over them in future uefa tournaments
