The bottom line is Bielsa provided us with promotion and kept us in the prem, with a small squad and mostly players he improved.

Don't give us this b oll ocks.

Someone with an ounce of class would have contributed to the articles on MB at least to acknowledge what a fine job he'd done getting us to here even it smells of hypocrisy.
You don't have an inch of class in your body Dong.

'In ruins' is a slight exaggeration Donn. 'In a mess' is how I'd put it. But if Bielsa hadn't come along, I believe we would be in ruins right now.

Glad nobody contested my points about Bielsas flaws .Says it all .

I didn't even bother reading what you wrote, nobody ever does, braindead and classless.

We have a 30 m back up striker whom we rarely, if ever, play as a striker.

1) the size of the squad wasn't an issue for three seasons

2) that stubbeness got us three fantastic years of football and even when it wasn't going right we still were not in the relegation places

3)most u23 players want to go on loan, in fact most of their agents push to gwt them playing regular football, you thinking this is an issue shows you have a real like of footballing knowledge

4) this is only an issue for you because you are a racist piece of crap... you racist piece of crap...

Serious question, you keep mentioning this. I just want to know, what made you a racist who demands people speak English?

5) they have managed it fine for a number of years and plenty of them haven't had any injury problems while bielsa has been here, also you have zero evidence that the injuries have been caused by his training and not regular impact injuries all players get.

6) he did want players, hence us trying to buy them.

7) (I know you stopped at 6 but this is important) you are a moron.

So many things have been written about our January
window. I've read (and thought this was true) that MB
nixed any transfers in. But, then you hear that melon
Kinnear saying "We didn't sign anyone as there wasn't
anyone better than we had and if they did come in they'd
only block the U23s progress." Which was idiocy.

And yet, the club wasted all it's time trying to sign a
player whose club were clearly not letting go of. Odd.

I now think that MB is so damn class, and full of integrity,
that he decided to not complain about the lack of transfer
activity. And just got on with it. And maybe the club did
opt to not sign players he wanted in.

I remember LIW posted an article where I think all of
us agreed: we'd like to keep MB until the summer.
I felt that MB would probably wave goodbye then.

But then when the club sacked him (or parted ways),
I could understand the logic. To an extent. It was a
gamble either way. The damage was done earlier in
the season, sadly.

Regardless, he's a legend. Love the bloke. Yes, he
frustrated the hell out of me at times. But I got over
it as he's a legend and I'm not. And I hope the club
build him a statue. We were lucky to have him.

Bielsa turned water into wine. Now he’s gone, we just have the water back.

I’m not sure he would have kept us up but I do know he would have wanted to stick around to get us back up again.

I’d be far happier going down with him at the club than someone who has such little experience in management. JM will find out that the Championship is one tough league to get out of.

How anyone can’t see what he has done for Leeds United amazes me. Nothing but fools.

And what hasn't been said is that if we had have stuck with Bielsa and gone down, knowing the type of man he was, I could see him relishing the challenge of getting us back up – something I'm sure he'd achieve. I know it's all pipe dreams but where Bielsatimes are concerned, dreams are all we have.

Stoopo and Lorra, I think if we do get relegated then JM's reputation takes a considerable hit too so much so that assuming the 49ers have complete control they would not hesitate in replacing him and I wouldn't bet against "Bielsa The Return"

I want to address two reply’s Jonty says we have a30 million striker who is hardly ever played in that position.Who’s decision is that .mattyp calls calls me names sticks and stones etc he says the small squad wasn’t a problem for 3 yaars. but it has been a hugh problem for the last 3 months. .Your last result is the most important.

The decision was ortas to pay 30m for a striker who isn’t really a striker.

Mattyp were talking about the present as it stands now and it’s pretty bad not what happened last year or the year before .And his penchant for not speaking English does not just annoy me many others too I’m sure.

Jonty we all know he was a top striker at Valencia .Orta is a liability but this one can’t be laid at his door.

What has not doing interviews in English have to do with anything remotely linked to our current situation?

You are clutching at straws to blame Bielsa but our new boss (which partly happened because of “supporters” like you) seems to be extremely capable of taking us down.

I’m sure you will be happy when our fate is sealed though.

posted on 12/3/22

Pure idiocy to dump bielsa before the summer. As if the new guy has more chance to keep us up. If we survive we surly would have with Marcelo. Lost faith and interest in the team a bit which probably won't come back till next season.
