10-5, good frame for Judd

I think the issue for Trump is that he won't beat Ronnie tactically, so whilst he can reign it in a bit, ultimately Trump needs to be playing well and making breaks - and even then he could still lose. You can see he is trying everything, but its not quite working out for him

And then that happens to you.....

When you need a bit of luck you don't get it.

11-5 c'mon 👏👏👏👏

Took them well... Far too easy.... Last frame massive.... For Judd

You still wouldn't discount judd.

He has reeled of 6 or 7 frames back to back against all the best players

But that's been an in-form Trump. He's not been the same this season - it was a bit of a shock that he made the final, even Trump admitted it. The Trump of 2 of 3 years ago might be able to turn it on, but it's not been the same player all season

I get no-one wants to say it, but Ronnie is looking far too focused and playing so well, and in this form, no-one can stop him - he is just too good when he's like this.

Assuming Ronnie goes 12-5, Judd needs to win 13-5 at least to win it.

Can’t see it.

That was ruthless by Ronnie

Do you think Ronnie packs it in after reaching 7?

Trump playing v poorly

Don't see a comeback tomorrow

would have liked to see the Robbo of most of the season get to the final and play Ronnie

Would have been a better final

Even though they'd have met in the semi 😂

Ronnie might want to get to 8 - he says he doesn't care about stuff like that, but that's just to relieve the pressure off himself. Ronnie pretty much destroyed Higgins, and is doing the same to Trump. Both know to win they need to be near their best, but haven't been, whilst Ronnie has been ruthless.

I'm just delighted 12 - 5 👏👏👏👏, yes Judd hasn't played well, or had the run of the ball.... But the great man causes pressure, & has potted all the balls.... Awesome.... 👏👏

Trump hasn't played as bad as they have made out.

Missed some easy balls and has some bad luck.

His safety has been good but he has just been punished for every little mistake

Judd getting battered here. Not turned up in this final really, looks a shadow of his best.

If Trump wins then it is fair.

If the other guy wins then the finale is rigged

Game over. Ronnie has played very well but Judd was so poor this evening. This could end with a session to spare. This was such a big chance for Judd to become a multiple world champion and he's failed miserably in this match.

Both Higgins and Trump have felt the pressure of playing an in-form Ronnie, and neither has been able to respond. Higgins hung on a bit due to his tactical nous, Trump struggling to do so. But both have not made enough one visit winning appearances, which is key to their games, especially against Ronnie on good form

Arsenal, he's 32, he'll do that, don't worry... But it's not over yet... Ronnie needs 6 frames...

Not really hugely into snooker, but usually watch the triple crown events in the latter stages. Was just wondering whether somebody better versed than I could educated me on the following:

The commentator mentioned a frame or two ago that Ronnie and Judd are the only two players who still use traditional chalk, and that’s probably why the cue ball still kicks at times, when they strike it. If so, why do you think two guys at the pinnacle of the sport continue to use traditional chalk? What’s the alternative and why do they seem to have issues with it?
