It won’t be easy for him to walk into the side because he’s competing against players that have lots of experience at premier league level, and we’ll be going into the market to sign at least one midfielder.
Performing well in the Championship for Forest and playing for Man United are worlds apart.

It should be easy for him to walk into that Utd midfield.
_________
He'd still be our fastest and most dynamic midfielder if he did that.

Indeed. Yet some players have the class to make that step up and take it in their stride. Becks did it. We will see whether Garner can make that step up. I really hope so, as we are crying out for someone with his skillset.
I’m fine with whatever really. If he does come back I just hope he will get games, especially as I can’t stand McTominay.

Even Kane did it. He was on loan to little old Leyton Orient.
Our midfield is hardly setting standards, total opposite. If Garner on form can't displace a poor McFred he never will! I think given a half a chance he'd flourish for us.
However, talent aside you can't buy experience and that is where McFred win.

I don't mind McT. At least he has the right attitude. Probably no more than a squad player really.
I don’t like his attitude of hiding from the ball. I don’t think he should be a squad player either, he’s just a poor footballer. He can’t even get in the Scotland midfield but he’s starting regularly for us.
