First half was genuinely easy, 9-0 over the two games flatters United.

My point is they showed no pride or fight. The kid could've been sent off for sure but he showed some heart. Think of robbie savage or vinnie Jones, they had half the talent of united mf but they wouldn't have had that for the whole 1st 45 it was unreal.
Thiago was like a prime Alonso but with more swagger. Unplayable today. Klopps getting good at picking the right games for him.
Doesnt usually matter what kind of form or where these clubs are in their respective journeys when it comes to deciding how a game may go. Im always usually nervous.
However the build up to this game I cam honestly say ive rarely felt more comfortable that wed win convincingly. Been saying for months now that utd side are 1 of the easiest sides to play through in the entire league.
Im 35, earliest memory of football is 1993. In 29 years thats by a million miles the worst utd side ive ever seen.
Also said after the city game, ive no words left for how good we are. I'll just repeat that again.
Least a championship side would've got stuck in for the first 45. I've never seen united v Liverpool were players didn't care. No fight. Liverpool players with all the time in the world.
I think everyone knew prior to the game you can drive a bus through utds mf; its shocking how utd find a way to NOT close down or at least make it a physical attle if not technical.
I remember when we played utd...when they were good and Gerrard was sent off after like 30 seconds...not clever of course but he essentially said I am getting in on these. Utd had no fight like that
Insult to carlton palmer that.
That long streak of misery wouldn't have put that kind of performance on
7th minute was pure class from Anfield 100%
Rivalries aside it was good to show football is just football. Even the most die hard Liverpool fans put it aside for a minute 🖒
