Not sure what's happened with regard to both the results and performances recently. The chance of European football was there a few weeks ago, but has now disappeared.
Bruno hasn't suddenly become a poor coach, so there has to be some other reason. Maybe a bust up of some kind is true and maybe why players were on the bench, instead of starting.
Unless Bruno can wave a magic wand, Neves will be off for sure, which may trigger Moutinho leaving as well.
Up front, I feel the time has come for Jimenez to depart and it's unfair to blame a 19 year old kid for the recent demise. He's been our best attacker by far recently and did not deserve to be subbed in the last two games.
What Bruno sees in Hwang is a mystery, but I guess having splashed the cash, he's here to stay.
What baffles me is how we're unable to control games when our opponents press us in our own third. Upcoming games against the top clubs will be more open and although we probably won't have much possession, I think we'll play better football.
I have a sneaky feeling that Traore will be back with us next season and will more than likely understand that he's not as good as he thinks he is and may succumb to agreeing a new contract.
Whatever happens, money from sales will have to be invested wisely, but if Bruno's choice of Hwang is anything to go by, then who knows what we'll get. Our problem will be attracting players knowing they won't be playing European football next season.
End of rant.

Right now, there is no dispute who our best forward is and it's Fabio. It's a disgrace that he's been the one who has been subbed when Hwang (and that's how you spell it Gem) has been woeful.

Don’t know who has said Fabio is by far our best attacker this season, but I do think he has been gradually improving and I do think he has been our best attacker in recent games.
His age isn’t a shield Tino it’s a fact he is only 19, and although there are players that have scored goals as a teenager but there are plenty of top strikers that didn’t. Vardy didn’t get a top flight goal until he was 27, Kane and Salah didn’t get their first until they were 20 and Raul had only got 1 by the time he was 23.
Nowhere near time to say Fabio won’t make the grade.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now my only reply
At Fabio's age
Keane was scoring top flight
Owen was scoring in a world Cup
Fowler was God
Rooney
Domenico Berardi had 50 serie A goals or something soft
There are loads of examples, plus Silva was heralded as a generational talent he's nowhere near, and his age is a shield cos all I see is give the kid time.... No one said the same for say William Jose
Yes he's not got loads of minutes but in the minutes he does get he just doesn't look a threat

Oh id say there's a fair bit of dispute there sunshine, fabio isn't even our best Portuguese forward
I think Fabio looks alright, nothing more. But at the end of the day, if he is selected then he has to be considered ready and age doesn't come into it. If he isn't considered ready then wtf is our recruitment strategy ffs.
I have a sneaky feeling that Traore will be back with us next season and will more than likely understand that he's not as good as he thinks he is and may succumb to agreeing a new contract.
Hardly a sneaky feeling he's not started a game since February 😂😂😂
I'm afraid there's no right all along posts available for that, especially when you and amiga were calling it a good deal
Tino I accept there are players that scored in their teens but my point is there are plenty of players that have gone on to be world class strikers that didn’t.
If this time next year Fabio hasn’t progressed I’ll be disappointed and will admit I was wrong. If he’s knocking in goals for Wolves I’m sure you’ll be as delighted as I will be
And at the end of the weekend we are still 3 points behind West Ham with a game in hand and still in contention for Europe. Just a shame the game in hand is against City

Yeah if this time next year he's banging them in I'd be delighted to be proven wrong
End of the day we all want wolves to do well, we were here before this current crop were even born and we'll be here long after they've left us... But if fabio has a good season it means we've had a good season
Maybe you can tell us Bombilino, who you think our best forward has been for the last few games.
Traore's move was best for both him and the club. He didn't sign a new contract and I'll be surprised if Barcelona keep him, let alone pay any fee. He is due to return in June and has one more year left on his contract. That is why I believe he may well with us again next season.
By the way, your examples of players scoring at an early age, bar one, are either English or used to the English game. Fabio has come from abroad and was pushed into playing earlier than most expected, due to the injury to Jimenez. He's now getting more game time, but most would agree, he isn't getting the service. Traore, if he returns, could provide that. Plus a fit Neto or Podence wouldn't go amiss either.
On a brighter note, Wolves women won their final league match and now play a strong Southampton side in the play off final and hopefully secure promotion.
No surprise at all to see Traore not getting games at Barcelona. Just surprised anyone thought he would. He is overall a poor footballer when it comes to what is required in todays game, you need a lot more than just being able to run fast with the ball.
Also zero doubt Raul would bring more to the team than Fabio at a critical stage to the season so a little baffled as to why he isn't getting games.
Interesting vote on molmix, near 400 votes and only 20% are in the Bruno should stay camp. Less than i expected.
Talk that Bruno is gone. An ITK that said Nuno was done as well. Wouldn't surprise me.
Sounds like he had a change of heart and it isn't definite.
Be surprised if we did anything til the summer. Not entirely Brunos fault as he has been let down badly by the club but he does seem naive.

I named English based players scoring as teenagers as I figured it'd be easier for you
But if you prefer
Ronaldox2... Both in foreign countries
Zlatan as above
Haaland as above
Messi as above
Being able to score goals is an instinct that knows no language
Fabio had half a dozen games in Portugal so not exactly ingrained in their style and joined a side with a huge Portuguese culture
He's currently getting out scored by jonny castro who's played less football and is a LB oh and he's got less assists than Jose Sa

Do that poll a month ago and it would likely be close 100% stay. Shows how fickle football fans are.
We've overachieved this season to be in 8th at this point. It's been a flat finish, but we likely need an overhaul of players this summer to sort ourselves out. If people think a manager change is going to fix us without proper investment, then next season is going to be grim.
I think Bruno has been chucked under the bus a bit.
I also think it is pointless comparing different players' developments. Every player develops at a different rate, both physically and mentally.
Just because one player bangs in goals at 19 years old, doesn't mean a player who doesn't isn't going to make it.
I get your point ram to a degree but I see nothing in fabios game that makes me think he'll ever be a regular goalscorer at this level, as I said to DJ earlier I hope to be proven wrong in just over 12 months time
So Fabio is being written off because he's not looking like he's shaping up to be one of the greatest players ever to play the game? That's ridiculous.
If he turns out to be the next Olivier Giroud (for example) is that a disaster? Yes we paid too much for him, yes he wasn't the player we needed to develop the squad in the way we needed and yes none of that is his fault. I think he's got potential to be a very very good player but to compare him to Ronaldo, Haaland, Rooney etc just isn't fair.
Spot on Goldie. Some just don't get it.
If he turns into the next Olivier Giroud and plays for us for a long period then £35 million will be a bargain.
