Semi final.

Time for Pep to do something mad to look clever.

Grealish and Sterling LB and RB.

Mahrez will be against Marcelo I think, so he should cause them problems.

It would be good to see an all English (Foden and TAA) CL final so I hope all of your English player has a good game tonight then Liverpool's English player smashes it tomorrow.

Come on Barry what about Hendo and Milner, we've got a Scotsman too, that's proper football!

Cancelo is a big miss for you lot.

Dependable, intelligent, super versatile, big game player. One of the most underrated players in the PL, IMO.

Capable of playing roles Zinchenko can’t, and his absence limits Pep’s options.

Still fancy you to make the final, and win it this year if the dippers don’t get through their semi.

If Stones and Walker aren't fit. The most Sensible option would be Ake rb and Zinchenko lb. Vini jnr being a huge threat down the left is a issue and will probably be why he will go for Ake pace against him.

That’s one thing Zinchenko has over Cancelo: he’s better with players running right at him.

I think you're more like to play Sterling at wing back than Bernardo surely? Fernandinho could also be an option if you played four at the back.

Wouldn’t be a bad shout. Bernardo’s off the ball work is second to none though really

Yes, however I would expect a wing back to have recovery pace should he be caught up field whilst the opposition counter.

Although I suppose with the way City play he could be a wing back on paper but simply playing in midfield, cutting inside as he normally does whilst offering some sort of protection with his workrate. Personally I wouldn't be trying that out against Real Madrid.

Depends who we have available at the back really, playing Ake and Zinny in both fb roles is risky in itself! Hopefully Walker is fit

For selfish reasons I hope he plays and gets injured. Nothing life threatening or anything of course 😆

Mahrez missed so many chances!

Would have taken a 1 goal lead if offered before the game, but given the nature of the match it’s a bit of a shame to leave with only that. Hopefully Walker is fit for the away leg, and with Cancelo back too we won’t be so all over the place at the back

Mahrez can be unbelievably greedy at times.

He should have realised by now that amongst the City players and fans, as much credit is given to the assist maker as the goal scorer.
