I see a 2 goal defeat. Which makes the home tie an even bigger game as that can be salvageable.

Overall though, have to think it’s the end of this cup run for Rangers but I’ve been surprised in earlier rounds.

They play a very high line with 3 at back, pace up top running the channels is a must IMO. Need to have an outball, thats how we have approached every game in europe this year and would be silly to go against that.

In terms of the game its the biggest night in Scottish football since 2008.

If we get to the final then this run eclipses previous finals from both teams. our stats in the europa are impressive as hell and hint at us being the best offensive team in the comp which is extremely rare when up against teams with more financial pull than us.

As I have done at almost every stage I will consider us as the outside bet, we shouldnt be beating teams like this but here we are.

Any sorta result to take back to Ibrox the undoubted star of the comp and we have to fancy our chances. No team has been able to handle the Ibrox roar and it has been rocking every game and has been the difference IMO. Both our players and opposition have made comments as such.

They’ve played 4 games in quick succession in last two weeks, and of their boys was saying how they were mentally exhausted. If we start fast, and have some luck then don’t see any reason we can’t cause an upset.

They’ve 3 players out who they can easily replace but hopefully adds some uncertainty, they said they could change formation. Obv we can’t replace our missing players as easily and goals will be a struggle you’d think.

Got no expectations as just great to be at this stage, but still think we could get something. A one goal defeat or draw and we’d be happy.

I’d be going Aribo up top and Arfield behind in midfield with Kent and Sakala on the wings.

if we are gonna go with a false nine it should be Arfield IMO. He has that natural instinct to get into coming positions.

our braga performance is getting too much stick. We did the job that was needed. We restricted Braga to very few opportunities, that was a very professional performance and is exactly what we need tonight IMO. Braga only had 6 shots against us in total and had 46% possession. If we limit Leipzig to that I would be very happy

Would be crazy to go without any real pace on the break, they’re going to dominate and we’ll need to play with a high tempo which I don’t know if Davis could really do. He’s ideal to bring on later in game for me if we’re still in it.

Aribo as false 9 works for me as he’s got the height and touch for flick ons for the wingers, but Arfield could likely cause issues just putting himself about snd getting in right positions.

We need to be clinical when they are presented. Whoever it is

I would worry about rangers not being able to get out of their own half without someone up top who will stretch the defence, so Sakala up to for me.

Sakala did the job he had to... he kept their defence honest and stopped them pushing right up and dominating the ball. thats exactly what we need tonight. One of the reasons we had the higher amount of possession was cos Sakala stopped the defence pushing up into our half and pinning us in.

If we allow Leipzig to pin us in they will hammer us

personally I would go 2 up top, Kent and Sakala. two guys that thrive in 1 on 1s... with their 3 at the back there will be lots of opportunities for them two to isolate one of the CBs and drive at them.

yeah I think he will go 4-3-3 also. Leipzig are quite aggressive in their formation their two fullbacks play like wingers and leave a lot of space in behind and our forwards need to exploit that
