Seville is really nice, if they want to keep it that way they should make sure they get a good masonic referee or risk the consequences.

I'd typed a reply to POV and deleted it. I'm not comfortable anyone 'wishing' trouble in Seville, not that I am saying that's what he was saying.

It is really scheite that everyone thinks it is pretty inevitable and frankly win or lose a great result will be getting out of there without trouble and I'd hope the club, supporters groups, forums and podcasts will be going out their way to try and get idiots to really think twice wtf they are doing out there instead of blaming the Spanish polis as per even if there is a certain historical justification.

If everyone is 'just' enjoying themselves I don't think the polis care or want a scene. The issues come when that enjoyment is interpreted as tanning places, scuffles, pishing and all the rest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
also im in now way defending anything cos some of the scenes were a disgrace but when you have thousands of drunk people all down for one of the biggest moments of their lives and the screens break and everyone told they wouldnt be back on. If that happens DO NOT close the f**king gates in and tell everyone they cannot leave to go watch the game elsewhere.... that was inevitably gonna start something

Agreed, the agencies have a responsibility and might handle things badly but it is still no excuse, eh?

Saw it on a Ryanair flight. First bing goes to allow only the stewards to move about and every cant dives to the toilet cos they are full of beer so the pilot comes on and says they’re closing the toilets for the whole flight. It resolved but it started a feud between Tim’s that continued into the terminal.

What happened in Manchester after the screens went down was inexcusable...but they were in no way equipped to deal with the numbers that turned up, and even if half that number turned up they'd still have made an erse of things

Fan zones getting too busy so they stop letting people in by placing police at the entrances......yet the toilets they've arranged for the fan zone are outside that barricade, meaning folk had to run the gauntlet of getting out past the polis to go fur a pi$h and managing to get back in again...hence why folk just started pi$hin anywhere

One guy with a laptop under a gazebo typing messages on the big screens basically saying he was "trying to get things fixed" when the live streams didn't come on

When the screens did go down and yer man and his laptop gave up, just a big message put up on the screen saying "GO TO VELODROME".....no directions nor nothing and they are expecting thousands of people that had been drinking all day to find this place

Pubs not letting people with colours on in to see the game...meaning folk who'd travelled down seen less than folk that stayed at home watching the telly

As said, doesn't excuse half of the $hit that went on afterwards....but it was a complete fcking shambles and there was plenty that only folk down there seen as it was never going to be reported on the telly just how much of a $hitshow it was

That's why I mean the club etc. can help e.g. if you don't have a ticket don't go please watch us on TV, anyone convicted gets a life ban, don't misbehave on the flights, beam back event at Ibrox - surely they can get 4x big screens on the pitch and sell it out or do folk need to be getting inebriated? Actually, they're probably worried about the place getting tanned if the screens fail!

TBH its getting so out of hand fans, stag dos and the rest that I can see flights introducing pre-flight breathalysers so again the minority idiots fcking it for Joe Bloggs that just wants a single G&T en route to their holidays.

Presumably ourselves and Frankfurt will face a similar problem:
