You should definitely be excited about Haaland. Kane is a great player and I think perhaps would've suited Pep more but in terms of potential Haaland is another level. If he stays at City for the foreseeable then I wonder if his best years will be post Pep due to the style of play but given his qualities as a manager we might see the side shake up the way they play to accommodate Haaland's strengths

I am not going to pretend I have watched him play but my brother swaers that the kid is an ice cold finisher.
I obviously wanted a player that suits Peps style but lets remember Aguero nor David Villa were typical Pep players but he made it work. We could play a different kind of game next season if he hits the ground running.
Sterling also plays better with a striker so things could get tasty.
Laporte has been great recently but not convinced he wants to stay long term and think maybe now is the time to cash in

What do you mean "cash in"? You spent a bomb on him, cash in sounds like you're expecting to turn a profit.

It's a legit question.
If you didn't meant it that way, just say so. If you think you're going to make money on him, I think you're wildly mistaken.
Quick hint, the UTD board doesn't give two focks about Rodri or your defence.

Yeah fair enough. From what I've seen Haaland's at his best is a leathal finisher yes but he's also incredibly determined with a stupidly high top speed (for someone his size) and great timing of runs.
Used right he could be unplayable although I'm not sure how he'd fair against sides sitting deep with intricate passing around the box required to unlock them
Why do you tag all of your shiiit articles on our board? We don’t care about City
Despite misspelling’ Defence’ he’s just trying to share the love
Maybe they're eyeing a takeover/merger.
Good content on the United board for once.
Rodri is a great player but he's at a financially doped club and I think that will impact the way he's seen in the wider footballing world.
Busquets is still rated above him, for example.
Rodri has had a great beginning and end. Lost it a bit up to the Liverpool home game (as a few had) but definitely back on form and wouldn’t be against the idea of him as poty.
At the back, I actually think of the 3, Stones is the lynchpin. Dias looks better when he plays with Stones, as does Laporte. I’d be tempted to move Laporte on too as not convinced he’s really ‘in it’, but with the injury record of those 3 combined can we afford to let any of them go?
Be gutted to see Bernardo leave too, he loves it, very Zabaleta esque mentality. Would also prefer to see him move to a big club abroad, we should get decent money and it would be a shame to see him step back to the Portuguese league at this stage of his career for the lifestyle, whatever makes you happy tho I guess.
Think there could be a few leavers this summer, although would be surprised to see the club allow both Gundogan and Fernandinho to go at the same time. Would hold on to Jesus myself for the options he gives you, but time to see Sterling leave I think.
Anyway enough transfer biz still got 3 games to win first!

I was reading a City fan's comment (won't name who) on here the other day justifying their financial doping. Anyway this poster claimed that City received £££ for Kompany to go to Anderlecht when he left City on a free.

wasnt against Sterling leaving as I prefer Gabby but lets see him with Haaland. Think we let Sterling run down his contract.
Don't mind if Mahrez leaves. Sounds harsh but oh well.
Mahrez hasn’t had the best season. But decent last year. His ability to score even when playing poorly is a huge advantage Sterling doesn’t have
