That’s a cracking spine / core to work with ….with some quality additions on top

Burnley could also get a point at spurs, if I recall correctly they beat them at t urd moor earlier this season.
Biggest concern for me is that the player who was largely carrying us has looked fatigued for the last 2/3 months after having the last kick of the Euros following extra time, very little holiday and playing way too many minutes this season considering that.

Pepe, Martinelli, ESR could all come in for Saka. However, Pepe has been mismanaged to the point he looks shot of all confidence, and ESR is kicking his heal on the bench. Those 2 could and should have gotten games here and there to give Saka breaks.
But it's not just with Saka. Tierney is injury prone. Tavares started the season so well, had one poor game and then disappeared for months to then get subbed off at half time in his next 2 appearances. Elneny has shown he can deputies for Partey (another who picks up knocks). Holding could have deputized for the CBs at tines two.
Instead, Saka is played into exhaustion and Partey, Tierney, White and Gabriel have all picked up injuries. This squad (whilst small) should have been managed better.
And this is without looking at us sending out AMN, Saliba, Torreira and Guendouzi on loan (although with Guendouzi it is a personality thing) - players we could and should have used this season arguably.

Spurs have struggled in the Europa league even struggled in the Conference league good help u in the CL.
Waiting for Arteta to ask the FA to postpone the game due to injuries again
I don't trust this team to recover from adversity however its been a tough season, we won't win games comfortably and that is a lot of pressure on the players. When we had 15 or so league games left and Arteta referred to them as 15 finals, that is a lot of games to play with that mindset and a win at all costs attitude just makes the losses tougher to take.
Its why the wins have been celebrated wildly and why the celebration police have been getting upset. Every game looks like it is taking a lot out of this side and players look fatigued. Its why Elneny and Nketiah have probably been more standout in recent weeks due to bringing some fresh legs and minds to this side. Tomiyasu defended well against Spurs and looked good and full of running against Leeds too.
We aren't keeping clean sheets though and have started conceding a few from set pieces and that's a concern when you don't have a huge amount of goal threat.
The main problem with this team is that it doesn't score enough.
If we go behind to Newcastle on Monday then the game will practically be over.
We will kepp possession, put in over 60 crosses to the likes of Eddie in the box and it will be easily defended.
Also, as suggested, we are starting to concede goals now more openly and with gabriel out, we will probably have to score 2 or 3 for the points
Depends if we are cheated by the refs like the last game.
If Newcastle score first we done for. Can't see us scoring 2 or more.
