What on earth are you talking about?

He's talking about Eurovision, Ted, not the FA cup final.

How I have changed!

There was a time when I'd watch it faithfully, the Eurovision, and now I try my best not to!

Just not the same as it used to be, tbh!

I'm probably going to say a Chelsea win over Liverpool, just because their fans on here are just a horrid little bunch.

Are you trans by any chance?

Ukraine favourites to win and will most likely top the public vote in most countries and the entry is decent so a good showing in the jury vote will see them win the contest.

Probably more interesting for us is that we are second favourites to win it, a top 10 finish for the first time in over a decade would be good.

The Rasmus are also representing Finland for anybody who liked heavy rock/mental in the 2000s.

I don’t know how anyone watches that Eurovision sh*te. The Euro song contest on Father Ted summed it up.

Yep and Ukraine could wheel out 'My Lovely Horse' and still win it tonight. Political voting.

Ireland keep missing a trick by not putting in a tongue in cheek version of my lovely horse - it would hoover ip votes.

I do enjoy Eurovision but will miss it this year. Probably not a bad year to miss as virtue signalers all over Europe and beyond will be getting their votes in and no doubt the judges will follow suit. So it's kind of a forgone conclusion

Good man. Yes Ukraine are going to win, 2/7 on with the bookies but most of us knew City would win the title at the start of the season and we’ve still watched games - there’s always other little dramas going on.

A great fairly recent innovation is splitting the judges and publics vote. Last Year Italy were languishing with the judges vote only to win it comfortably when the Public vote came in - pure drama

Eurovision is absolute waank, people who watch it are morons. It’s not even funny in a sh-t way.

posted on 14/5/22

It’s fekin dreadful, only women, effeminate men and absolute caants like it

I'd rather attend a City or Liverpool trophy parade than watch Eurovision. 😂

There's some brilliant musicians out there and people instead choose to watch that load of tripe. I don't get it

Eurovision is absolutely chit

There's nothing like a thread about Eurovision to shine a light on all the homophobes, eh?

I wonder if they realise that statistically homophobes are far more likely to be homosexual themselves? Straight people don't tend to be concerned about homosexuals at all.

Come out of the closet guys. There has never been a better time to do it.

Who’s doing the Eurovision thread, or is the running one from previous years still going?

Kind of hope Ukraines act is absolute shiyte, like TOO bad to get away with voting for them politically. Just so it’a not obvious from the start. Or really good I guess and deserved winners.

There are so many good musicians and good music out there, (some people can even actually read and write music) yet many people who slag off Eurovision tunes as being overtly woke, camp, shallow, 3 minute pop songs, also like simple and crap music themselves, yet believe it to be somehow better, more valid and 'trendy'...when it really isn't.

There is a time and place for most kinds of music and tonight it is the turn of Eurovision in Turin on the telly. Watch it and appreciate it for what it is, (and try and not be too homophobic about it if that annoys you about it).... or do or watch something else instead.

Yep it's that time of the year where you get to see odd looking German blokes performing in front of a huge crowd. That's right, it's the 2022 FA Cup Final.

posted on 14/5/22

I won’t actually be watching it. Will be flying home when it’s on FFS. Miss the FA cup final too FFS!

There is a lot of projecting going on here from the usual suspects.

Guys you can be Heterosexual and like Eurovision for what it is - yes it’s as camp as a row of pink tents, it’s also a lot of fun, well choreographed and very inclusive.

With all the schitt going on in the world, imagine being against a fun euro competition (plus the Aussies) that you can have some fun drinking games with and see some good acts- for free
