I'd add Rodon, Lo Celso, Jack Clark, and Ndombele too. Despite his recent performances the press chatter also seems to suggest Doherty might be available if the right offer comes in. Plus I think we should do loan moves for Tanganga, Gil, and Matar Sarr. Adding these guys to your list (which I agree with) makes it a total of 14 outgoings which is massive.

We need a RWB LCB CM FW as priority plus a GK and second CM.

6 signings in to replace Ndombele, GLC, Gollini, Rodon, Bergwijn, Emerson/Doherty.

Can’t see any more happening than that tbh

I’m excited by it, it’s final throw of the dice time for Levy - if he backs Conte then brilliant. If he doesn’t back Conte then we will be struggling for mid table finishes in as little as 5 years or the fans will hound him out. Either way, it feels like things may happen this summer.

Paratici is key of course and I am sure they already have a shortlist of players drawn up. As long as they bring in 2 new full backs, a top centre back and a back up striker, plus anyone else Conte really wants then I am happy.

If we can’t get rid of players for whatever reason but Levy spends what’s needed anyway then I don’t care about squad outs and wouldn’t hold that against Levy.

Honestly this is the biggest summer we have had in at least a decade

The biggest summer windows we’ve had in recent times were the Bale one and 2019 and we made a mess of both of them to be honest and set ourselves back by a good few years on both occasions.

This does feel pivotal and over the past two summer windows we have signed 12 players which is relatively high by recent standards. It’s exciting no doubt, but we’ve been down this path so many times before I’m not sure exactly how excited we should allow ourselves to get.

Paratici always had incredibly busy windows at Juve so he’s got precedent when it comes to this, it will all depend on Levy now and how freedom he gives him to operate in the market.

If we only bring 3 in then Conte will walk - no way will that be sufficient for what he needs.

I would be staggered if it’s any less than 4 in as 2 WB’s a CB and a striker are absolute priorities and really we need another decent CM as well.

We messed up 2019 for sure, but I don’t know what else we could have done with the Bale money. Everyone says it should have been spent on 3 quality players - the problem is we weren’t a draw at the time for the top players, we had been in CL once and didn’t have it the following season, the manager wasn’t a draw and Bale was the one stand out player we had.

From that money though we did secure Eriksen and Lamela who were key components of Poch’s Tottenham. We were unlucky with Soldaldo - we signed the best striker who would join us at the time and it just didn’t work. Capoue got injured but had looked very good initially, Chiriches was awful as was Paulinho. Finally Chadli was decent enough, never a top player but a good soldier for us.

This summer is completely different, we are a draw these days, the stadium is a draw, Conte is a draw and Kane and Son are a draw. Levy has to back Conte, if it costs £200m then the money has to be found - it’s not like we can’t afford that, structure the payments, get Joe Lewis to sell one of his Yachts, but make it happen.

Will be surprised if we do more than 3, possibly 4 new signings. Clearly needed ( if Conte gets his way ) are 1x CB, 1x RWB, 1, possibly 2 CMF and 1x back up CF.

A lot of this will rely on Levy agreeing to not look for silly prices for the obvious deadwood that needs to go. For example waiting out for 30m+ for Winks.

If Levy is sensible and gets these sale funds and reduces the wage bill, then what is needed will be more realistic.

But it is Levy still calling the shots, so we all have to hold our breath during the summer transfer window, hoping a leopard does change it's spots.

The only thing, for me, that makes this upcoming window feel different is Levy's need to definitely hold onto Conte and Kane. Even he is not stupid enough to know that is crucial, and should free up funds to make sure that happens.

There's always a difference between who we want to/could sell and who we can't sell/doesn't want to leave.

Lo Celso and Ndombele clearly aren't interested so they'll have to be replaced. I could see one big signing there (Paulinha is it?) then relying on Skipp more, or Sarr if we're in the ropey.

Aside from LCB and RWB I don't think we need to buy to improve that badly. Swapping Bergwijn or Lucas for any winger around their value is going to be a gamble I'd be inclined not to take unless they want to go or Conte has a strong preference. LWB? Same story.

Backup GK I guess a freebie, not that it really affects anything. A backup striker would be nice as always.

Even with massive hits on outgoing players I think we can raise a decent amount.

£15million - Rodon
£10million Winks
£25million - Lo Celso
£20million - Ndombele
£18million - Bergwijn
£18 to £20million - Royal.

That’s almost a £100 million there.

Yeah but it’s £85m to make Romero and Kulu permanent.

We’ve already turned down higher bids from Ajax for Bergwijn - we can get £25m there and GLC is a £30m player in La liga.

This is a summer that requires a large net spend, Levy could recoup the cost by doing the stadium naming rights deal, get another sleeve sponsor and get a training gear sponsor

Right but I think to offset that 85million we will be making a few more loan to buy deals which seem to have quite the preference to Levy. I don't think the Romero and Deki deals will have a massive impact on what we do this summer.
