getting a bit fed up ....

It was a thankless task from the beginning.
I reckon he’s done pretty well to give us the faint
chance we have of staying up unless we win our
last 2 games 20-0…

I would like to add that a damp squid is significantly likelier to be healthy than a dry one.

The problem is Biesla was put on a pedal stool, now Jesse is an escape goat. I'm on tender hooks to see how the season ends for Leeds, if you get relegated to be Pacific. And so on.

Everyone is an expert. Everyone seems to think it’s very clear why we are in this situation. Personally, I have never owned a club or coached a professional team. I just try to be positive and support the team. Not to say people are beyond criticism, but the speed at which Marsch has been sent to the gallows by some, is jeye opening.
All I know is that even a point tomorrow keeps us in the running to even have our destiny in our hands on final day. So I’m hopeful of a win, and failing that, pick up a point.

That theory clearly based on Spurs doing us a favour before we play.

And then Villa
And then Newcastle
And the point ends up keeping us up 😂

Are three abject capitulations in succession at this most crucial stage in both our season and our "long-term development" not enough for you then, Kammy?

I'm not an expert and have never been in football management. Don't think you need to be to read the writing on the wall right now. I'm just a fan who can only interpret the recent abysmal performances at this crucial time in one way, but who would desperately love it to be otherwise.

5 stars kammy

The angry mist I had has cleared. We have to ride this
season out. Stay up or drop, we (and I'm sure the club will) have to give Marsch a summer and players he needs.

We know there's going to be a clear out. I'm hoping
he stays and is allowed to build properly. Not in a
firestorm like this season.

Tend to agree, would I have sacked Marcelo probably not but think we would be around the same place, what we didnt expect was Burnley to go on the run they did, did anyone really expect anything from the last 3 games though must admit theres been one or two strange decisions selection wise but when you are struggling you maybe do strange things, the football hasnt been what we are used to but when we got 11pts from 5 games it was the results that mattered, these games are vital now and I'm sure JM didnt expect to be without his 2 senior players, CF and have Englands player of the year underperforming, feeling at the club is the style will be totally different next season so as the OP says it might be best to give him a chance,
What I will say on here it's a lot more sensible than social media, people might disagree but it's usually a decent discussion, theres some absolute claptrap spoken on social media and I hope it doesnt spill over into the ground,

We knew the season was going to be hard when we didn't strengthen in the summer, we knew it had got worse with the injuries and not having a larger squad to help, we knew it was a massive gamble not getting players in to bolster the side in January. But hey, let's all have a go at the present manager. What did people want him to do that nobody could do before he came.I don't remember this side setting the premiership alight before he came. Whether he's the right man or not, give the man a bit of slack.

Agree far too much negativity towards him

I get most of us wanted Bielsa to stay.

But that's not Jesse's fault. He deserves a chance whether we go down or not

Put on a what now?

Do you mean pedestal?? What’s a pedal stool? 😂

A stool with a pedal obviously. The pedal makes the stool seat go higher, raising the person above all others.

It’s Tenter Hooks as well.

Plus why are we in the Pacific? I know we’re sinking but we are more North Sea to be honest.

Something you sit on when hanging things on ‘tender hooks’… obviously

Some common sense on this thread… seems in short supply elsewhere. As I posted elsewhere… marsch has more points than Eddie Howe from his first 10 games at Newcastle. But he’s American and he talks too much so he must be crap.

He may turn out to be terrible but unfair to judge him to date. Think a lot of fans are panic-ridden and emotional.

Let’s be honest….sometimes Bielsa could talk for Argentina and England put together and still leave the media perplexed.
