Being saying for weeks it could come down to a Pontus own goal on the last day.
I feel a bit for Pontus. Having to play to get Leeds relegated of all things. Id struggle to play that game knowing that your defending against the team who loved him.

Seeing Joffy up front today makes me wonder why we persisted in James up front for so long!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Too true, absolute madness when everyone could see it was not working. Bet DJ would still have been up top today if he wasn't suspended
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This has been one of the biggest misjudgments of the season across two managers in my opinion. Yes he is by no means the finished article but his contributions to goals per minutes on pitch scream that he needs to be involved and used way way more than he has. What he lacks in certain aspects of the game that James was doing up front I am utterly convinced would have been made up by more goal involvements.
according to merson if messi did what joffy did to set up goal we would be talking about it for years
Joffy was great today. Engine never stops.
Watched your match today...fortunate to say the least but what a game!
If I'm honest though I still don't think it's going to land in your favour. Villa will be saving everything for next Sunday and if the rumours are true that Newcastle are interested in Phillips, then I'm sure they know that only 3 points for Burnley next week makes that transfer even slightly possible. I can actually see you winning next week but I have a feeling Burnley will pip you to 17th. Either way, best of luck
It's a stupid game this... grown men and women getting themselves in a right old state willing and praying for salvation in the form of Leeds getting a result to stay up for the opportunity to witness loads of more painful defeats next season, more than likely struggling again, in the nether regions of the Premier league....Yes please!
Just watched the highlights back, their keeper made 2/3 superb saves, we deserved nothing less that point, even though the first half was dreadful.
It’s a very hard place to play in front of your own fans in games like that. Let’s hope Burnley lose to Villa.
From the pics on Twitter prob Phillips and Ralph’s last game at Elland road for us.
Meanwhile Everton get the softest penalty imaginable and put away by a guy that should be suspended.
We'd get neither.

Nah the Phillips thing’s not a factor but the fact the Newcastle have nothing to play for could be a decider.
Cheers for the good wishes tho!
Second half was best we've played in a while. Thought Firpo played one of his best games for us, and Klich never stopped running until he went off. Got pretty toxic towards the end, but moment of magic from Gelhardt created the chance to equalise. We should have scored at least two, though.
Gggeeetttt iiiiinnnnn. I know we can't have the luxury of who we want to go down but I really do hope it's Everton.

100%. Playing DJ up front rather than on the wing is criminal. As was picking Tyler Roberts all season over Joffy. He has talent!

Lovely stuff
Glorious. Hope they get relegated smug fckers
Can't see DCL playing again this season either. Looks injured and only going to aggravate it playing on.
Excellent result. Fck off Frank.
Can’t see Everton getting relegated.
Us or Burnley
If we had won today, think pressure would have been on Everton even more going into next week. But think they’ll be alright
