Interesting comments from Radz after sacking Thomas Christiansen.
He said: "If you watch the games we conceded so many chances early on, in the first few minutes. This is a sign that mentally the players are not relaxed.
"They are stressed and this is why I could feel that probably the manager was not transmitting security and confidence.
How many goals have we conceded early on with Marsch?
It's incredible how knowledgeable AR is about football management after just a few months as an owner....
His next appointment was Heckingbottom
If we go down, there’s no way we’re going straight back up. Parachute money won’t help much - loss of TV money is a massive hit and player prices will tumble.
We will sell Raph for peanuts. Phillips will go to keep his World Cup hopes (and salary prospects) alive. Bamford too for the same reasons if some team takes a punt on him after injury. Meslier will go to be no.2 somewhere on megabucks.
We will lose the spine of our team (not that we ever had it this season) and be playing football with no plan, decreasing fitness and an owner who is again having to plough in money just to keep the ship afloat rather than make us better.
This time with no messiah to lead us back to the promised land.
I for one am not “meh” about this. I’m furious and feel like we’re looking down the barrel of another 15 years in the wilderness because of lack of investment and lack of faith in the man who got us promotion in the first place.

Parachute money helps tremendously, its why so many teams can bounce back, afford to keep players etc.
But you're right about players leaving and club have planned for this.
Expect Raph Philips and Meslier to leave. Bamford has clause but I think that they want to keep him.
Will Rordrigo, Llorente and Koch want to stay with World Cup looming?
Ayling, Dallas and Klich are aging.
So we're left with overpriced James, Firpo, the returning Casilla, Costa and Poveda.
Complete rebuild needed.
Why am I meh about it?
Lats time was traumatic, going from champions league to Blackwell in a couple of seasons.
This just just a fleeting visit.
The biggest shame is that that all the effort, attention to details and cultural shift in the club brought about by Bielsa feels to have slipped away in just a matter of weeks.

Spurs fans talk about being "Spursy" pales into sheer insignificance compared to "doing a Leeds"
We are all so blessed to support Leeds United!!!
Thank you God for making me give my heart and soul to those Elland Road heroes from yesteryear as a kid... So many memories... Most of them traumatic!
Still MOT and if TPTB feel like taking a day off on Sunday from sticking pins in their voodoo effigy of all things Leeds United then that would be very much appreciated.. Cheers but I'm not holding my breath.
If we go down, there’s no way we’re going straight back up. Parachute money won’t help much

completely disagree, massive advantage, and should mean instant promotion.
But with this management, anything could happen
Strange the way people say with Parachute money we,(if we go down!)won't come back up!..
Hopefully the people saying this ain't the ones that moaned about clubs coming down and making it straight back up because they used their Parachute money they way it should be used!..
Clubs go down, some manage to keep a few off their best, the ones they don't keep they'll save on wages and make on selling!..
Our main problem it seems is recruiting, people have said for ages, get someone in that knows his job and knows a player than maybe we'll get the players some here wanted in times gone by!..
But then the man at the top has to back whoever is in charge of the playing side of things!..
Papertalk of Gelhardt wanting to move if we go down concerns me greatly. If we are to have any chance of bouncing back up Joffy has to be a central part of the first team that spearheads us back to where we all feel we belong.
The owners need to show ambition and reward this young man with a contract that his advisors are content with too and we can at least dream realistically of returning to the Premier league for the first time in our history at the first attempt after relegation.
Clubs like Norwich Burnley Brentford and Bournemouth put our owners to shame. They need to step up and prove to us they are fit to run our beloved club.
This time with no messiah to lead us back to the promised land.

Its the board that put the "mess" in Messiah!
Although the consquences of the drop wont be as severe as last time around it still doesnt get round the fact that any time spent outside the top flight just facilitates the ever widening increase in the gulf between us and the top table of the PL.
If we can just somehow get lucky for once and avoid relegation on Sunday, hopefully the owners can learn from it and make some radical improvements in the summer.
Recruitment strategy certainly needs an overhaul wherever we are come Monday morning.

Who could blame him for wanting out? Seeing a totally ineffective DJ continually played in his position by last 2 managers would grind my gears as well. The shambolic way the club has been run this season would see any player with ambition have doubts about sticking around.
I dont believe that Joffy's contributions, when he's got on the pitch will have gone unnoticed - he's got a natural eye for goal and he's also technically gifted as shown last weekend. Just as important, he thrives under an Elland Road spotlight.
No, can see a cheeky PL bid coming in for him - its a massive profit for Radz even if its only a few Million . I don't expect to see him either way in the EFL.
Seem to remember bringing on youngsters and selling at a profit was one of his aims!
I've not seen much paper talk re Joffy. to be honest theres stuff every day about players leaving but you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.
Dan James was linked to Atalanta today!
Right now, I don’t think the club can afford the right man, and the right man can’t afford to work for us, without damaging his reputation.
All of this said, recalling last time we were relegated. I just can’t see any positives unless we lose no more than two of this squad, and try to bounce back immediately.
Having to sell players at discount value because of relegation isn’t going to Sonia the slightest bit of good.
We truly need to stay up Sunday. The second half against Brighton was more like it, so the players know what is required. For starters, we need to avoid a horrendous start like Everton had yesterday.
I've seen the Joffy talk also. Agree with tslufc, who could blame Joffy for wanting to leave when Dan James and his bag of nothing stands in your way? We did hear rumours earlier in the season that his reps were making noise about him wanting out.
It is paper talk. And same paper talk is now yapping
about Bamford's next club. Honestly don't know how much interest he'll get now. Four major injuries in one season and has been no help whatsoever to us.
I'll drive DJ to Atalanta.
Losing your best players is always a risk as big cheques from top clubs here and abroad are hard to resist - to say nothing of the player's own ambition to play in European competition.
The really galling thing is that when it happens to us we always get a knock down price for players due to relegation.
If we go down (which looks more than likely now) we will not get what we should have for Raph or any others who depart.
This along with the loss of value of the club, loss of TV money etc is going to hit Radz hard in the wallet. All because he sat on his hands for the last 2 windows.
A very sad state of affairs all round.
Thing is if we do go down I expect sales but we wont sell most of the squad. Some will have to stay. Like others have said i expect James to actually flourish in the Championship.
You can sell 80% of your squad- we arent in a crazy financial position like years ago.
I expect Raph, Philips, Rodrigo, Llorente, Koch to go but I expect to keep some players.
I can see a struggle in the championship, with Orta picking the players. No way we land another Bielsa type to mask poor management.
I’m sure the bright lights big city factor might get to gelhardt, but I reckon a year in the championship getting regular game time under marsch (who plays two up top) would be great for him.
Don’t see him as a regular starter for anything other than a relegation fodder team in the Prem. Not a slight on him, he has a bit of magic about him but still just a kid with a bit to learn.
If we do drop (hope to God we don't), I think we'll do
a Sheffield United. Struggle first season back down
despite parachute payments and fire sale of players.
Second season, we could be challenging for play-offs.
Saying that, my confidence is low as I just don't trust
anyone at the club, based on recent history, for us to
do otherwise.
On paper I reckon we stand a 30% chance of staying up - so that’s grounds for optimism. But then I look at how, for a month now, everything has conspired against us - ourselves included. When the going got tough, Burnley pulled their socks up and Everton showed their character. Meanwhile, we’ve done nothing but shoot ourselves in the foot (take a bow Meslier, Dallas, Ayling, James), and there’s nothing about this team that makes me think they have the necessary team spirit to play above themselves. Terrible to doubt the integrity of your own team but that’s where are right now.
