You may not want CL but we NEED CL.

Besides all the other obvious things like finances, prestige & signings. Reaching the CL would be massive for the belief and confidence of our young players and would likely drive them onto higher heights in terms of their performances.

I think anyone saying things like I don't want CL is just lying to themselves and saying that as a coping mechanism for our failure to achieve it.

No, we're not quite ready for it, but we would have been a damn sight more ready for it by the start of next season with the players we would have been able to bring in.

If you’re a supporter, you’d always want to compete in the biggest tournaments.

Gaining CL qualification means you’ll be able to attract better players, thus making you more competitive.
