If they have breached the rules then they should face a points deduction like Derby have and countless more before them - and it should be applied this season not next.
However, this is the FA and Prem we are talking about - they will probably be awarded points rather than deducted
I was reading Everton claimed to have lost 170 mill 2020/2021, due to covid.
Sounds a bit of a big number. 🙂
Even if they lose, they'll appeal. So unless it's dealt with extremely likely, any consequences will likely not be felt til next season. Just going off how long these things are normally dragged out for and knowing that Everton will do everything possible to ensure any punishment won't be meted out this year.
*even if they are punished they'll appeal.
Id rather they got the deduction next season so that football does the talking this season, but I don't think that will hurt them at all as they should be nowhere near the bottom next season.
I hope the FA come down on Burnley like a ton of bricks.

If Everton were to get anything like the points deduction Derby got, I doubt very much they are staying up next season.

Villa survived a couple of times then went down the 5hitter. Everton will have the same problem as last summer - they have no money to spend - they need to hope they get huge offers for DCL and Richarlison in order to rebuild

I still hate Burnley though and hope they perish.
Isn’t there a uefa rule that clubs can’t sue their associations or the whole country gets banned or something? Maybe it’s only diddy countries they enforce it as uefa follow the £££££££££

Prem/FA will do FA about Everton. And to the point that
it should be settled on the pitch, there's the problem,
Everton gained an unfair advantage on the pitch. They
weren't plowing those millions into new hot tubs.
Leeds managed to come through COVID with a
healthy financial bottom line. Everton make a mockery
of LUFC's effort to do things the right and legal way.
Everton should be getting Derby County'd. But, they'll
skirt this no worries. Prem like UEFA and FIFA is
corrupt.

A tonne is a tonne, doesn’t matter if it’s bricks or milkshake bottles - still weighs a tonne, which could do a lot of damage

If both weigh a tonne then it doesn’t matter if they are bricks or plastic bottles - how is this difficult to comprehend.
Might write to my MP about education standards in Liverpool, they seem to be really failing you lot

We were comparing a tonne of bricks to a tonne of empty milk shake bottles
A tonne is a measurement of weight
If both weigh a tonne then they weigh the same whether they are Bricks or Milkshake bottles.

Anyway back to the topic it does beg the question how have Everton afforded half a billion in signings in recent years when they have zero European revenue, their fan base is limited and their shirt sponsor is Cazoo ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The other question is, is Everton’s spending spree the absolute worst value for money in football history?
Spent half a billion to nearly get relegated

Newcastle's covid losses 40 mill. Villa's 56 mill.
Everton's 170 mill. Oh yeah, that seems reasonable.
Nothing to see here at all. Fck Everton & the Prem.
