Getting hit by a tonne of bricks or a tonne of empty milk shake bottles, if its the bottles at least there'll be a small chance they can scrape a little something up for the funeral!..
Rules are rules yes, but how did a grubby little club like Man City end up with a squad worth billions? Not exactly fair is it, they are still reaping the rewards, however Everton should be punished, but points deduction won’t touch this seasons campaign.

Money talks
Just listening to The Times sports journalist on Talksport the best Leeds and Burnley can hope for this season is some sort of financial remuneration and as others have said any potential points deduction will not impact this season, but next season Everton could quite easily start off on minus 12 so another relegation struggle would seem likely for Frank Lampard's Everton.
Maybe us Leeds fans can threaten legal action over
our board being negligent, clueless, and sh. _. T.

I honestly think they are doomed, they are complete shat, can’t spend and have fat Frank as manager. If they get a points deduction they are definitely gone. They’ve got Villa written all over them

FFP ultimately comes down to how "creative" your accountants can be when it comes to annual player amortisation costs.
Kieran Maguire, the football finance guy, had a bit of a rant after the permanent Coutinho deal to Villa was announced a couple of days ago.
According to him, Barcelona signed Coutinho for £142m, and sold him for £18m only 4 years later. But thanks to the wonders of amortisation, they'll show a total overall loss on Coutinho of about 4 million over the same period. (Annual amortised cost over 4 years, minus £18m)
A deal that was conveniently rushed through just in time for the end of their current financial year.

Amortisation is quite easy really. You sign a player for say £100M on a 4 year contract
His purchase value is written down over that contract period (possibly building a resale value) and that it 🤷🏻♂️
This is sad that 2 fellow clubs have threatened legal action. Surely this is an FA decision alone.
This is desperation at its worst.
Everton have put out a statement that external auditors have scrutinised their accounts and they comply with the rules.
Burnley and Leeds should be ashamed of their conduct. Embarrassing.
Everton fan thinks its embarrassing. In other news, the moon is white.

Fck off you melon. You know you're a bunch of copper roof swiping, firework shooting tw 4ts and bent as hell.
If you lot skirt this you'll be fcked next year anyway with the points deduction that the rest of the league will insist you take.

Why weren’t teams moaning at the beginning of the season? Why wait until you’re nearly relegated? Sounds like they’ll sue the Prem and not Everton. Either way, it’s not going to help Leeds or Burnley as this will drag on for yonks and they will already be relegated.
There's no point crying about their spending power. Moshiri is a heavy hitter.
The biggest ball clubs in any sport have always spent more cash than the smaller ones, and been more successful because of it.
Burnley/Leeds suing Everton would be like Atletico suing Real because they spend more. You just have to suck it up and try and beat them on the field. You couldn't... so you're relegated.

😂 Like they did with City?
I hate to ruin your fantasy but City didn't do anything wrong in the eyes of a real court.
If my memory serves me right Everton hardly bought anyone in the summer, and then wasted the money from the Digne sale on some deadbeats. It doesn’t sound like the actions of club who thinks they’re doing something wrong.
