Philips was absolutely awful today. Not sure he's anywhere near the same player under anyone other than Bielsa. With a bit of luck Newcastle haven't noticed.
Don't think we could have bounced straight back up if we lost. We have the summer now to find good owners and a manager and nine or ten players. Sorry can't help it. Our board has turned me into a glass half empty guy.

All game was thinking that 12 games in from Marsch taking over and he’s got Phillips back to form — unfortunately, the form he had back pre-Bielsa when I was cringing every time I saw his name on the team sheet.
I hope Marsch hasn’t broken him with days off, less training and more MacDonald’s. Fingers crossed Phillips is just rusty from his long absence and can get better for the new season.

KP has bought a house in Altrincham by all accounts which is 20 minutes from Man City so I think it's a done deal, especially from his reaction last week at Elland Road, he has served us well but will be leaving us to replace Fernandinio for about £55million plus add ons I would imagine if City win the Champions League etc.
