Making a mountain out of a molehill?

Pitch invasions should be banned. Nonsense that supporters can be allowed anywhere near the players and officials.

Then the fences go up,whats the point of running around like some loony because you avoided relegation?

You think fans should be allowed on the pitch to destroy goal posts like they did today? Always found pitch invasions cringe personally.

But that's it....you can't trust people.... allegedly the villa keeper was 'manhandled" this afternoon.

Absolutely no need for it.....you can't be exposed to that kind of thing at what is effectively your place of work.

The Villa keeper was timewasting at every oppurtunity and winding the City fans up as much as he could, hardly surprising someone gave him a shove.

No excuse for it Boris. It didn't look too serious but nevertheless, was completely unwarranted.

I don't want to see that. Especially if it detracts from a fantastic comeback like today's.

The individual should be banned. End of the season or not, PL champions, avoided relegation or whatever. Attacking someone has to be a ban and the way to stop it is stop the pitch invasions. We don't want fences or moats but they have to be stopped.

No excuse whatsoever but I'm just giving a bit of background to the incident.

Looked like he just got shoved a couple of times from where i was, Gerrard has done worse things to DJ's and got away with it.

If this continues into next season and being a copy cat event could end in bans from European competition again, hopefully dies out over the Summer

I found hilarious that Roy Keane was 'outraged'.

I was there when he ended Haarland Snr's career prematurely.

No excuse, and yet all you have done is attempt to excuse it. He had it coming because he timewasted in a football match. Disgraceful position to take.

Yeah the Villa goalie incident has been blown out of proportion. Nothing really happened to him.

The Vieira incident was similar, it was actually Vieira dishing out the damage lol (justifiably tbf).

The one that was bad was in the Forest game, but that was an outlier.

Port Vale ran on the pitch the day after Forest. One if there players had a cut on there face, albeit ive seen more damage from a kitten but still

The issue with pitch invasions is that one day, a player will get knifed.

Zero tolerance should be afforded.

Pitch invasions have not always happened. At most grounds there are signs saying it is illegal to go on the pitch. They have occured sporadically over the years and typically at lower league level and they had become accepted.

Any fool that remembers the bad old days could see that we'd get to where we are now and things will get worse if nothing changes.

I've invaded a few pitches myself, many years ago.

Point deductions against the clubs for failing to control their fans should come into play

Maybe, or X amount of games with no fans, they may become self policing to a degree and less harsh on the club. They'd still be punished through lack of sales and refunds.

Why can’t you make a comment without linking it to Liverpool as tenuously as possibly?

You clearly implied it was deserved. You can deny as much as you want but it's written in black and white.

You need to read what I wrote again, I explained reasons why someone felt the urge to give him a shove

I didn’t condone it but if you’re going to taunt people for 45 minutes in a supercharged environment like there was yesterday then some nutter is likely to react.

Absolutely no comparison to the Billy Sharp or Vieiria incidents
