14 years and you've won fack all.

Having said that you will probably win a domestic cup next season.

I agree it's not the amount you have to spend, its how you spend it. We spent £50m on Ben White who is only worth £25m at most.

We have a rubbish trophy record in the PL era. We know this, we all know it.

But if that is what you are relying on as reasoning for a top class manager, being backed properly to add to some excellent players already, then you will probably end up quite disappointed.

Liverpool didnt win the league for 30 years, until they went and won it. Same for United, who then went on to win it most years. Things change...you havent won anything for ages is not a credible reason for not ever winning anything.

the goooners have been proper touchy since sunday tbh. they are all slowly coming to the realisation that spurs are now in a place where they can seriously leave them behind, and arsenal are treading water with men like nketiah leading the line and arteta in the dugout.

next season arsenal will do well to finish above newcastle. they played one game a week and only managed 5th this year

Will you do a runner out of Europe like you did last season?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fanbase so happy about finishing the season with 0 (zero) titles.

Try and use the Top 4 status to sign some good players for once, rather than no-names like Kulasevski and Doherty, and actually win a triple crown title for the first time in over 30 yrs.

How was your European campaign?
No Europe at all, 1 game a week since September and still finish below us

NKeitiah will not be leading the line, he's LEAVING the line. End of contract, he'll be off like Laca & Auba...for ZERO!!

yeah but there was that week when they had to play twice, poor little lambs must have been exhausted. No wonder they crumbled at the end of the season

But that’s the beauty of football innit.
They’ll just have to go old school with it, and build a team together that believe in their manager.
No amount of money beats a core group on the same page willing to ‘die’ for one another,

Spurs have pretty much hit their ceiling, unless Conte can elevate the club to Liverpool/City levels but that's not happening. £150m isn't a huge amount these days. And I don't think Spurs can attract ready made world class players even with that budget. You might just spend it on the next Lo Celso and N'dombele, which was the last time you thought you'd leave us in your shadow.

Salty dude

Spurs have world class players already. Kane, Son, Loris and Romero are world class.

A few additions, in the creativity side and couple more players and with Conte in charge, and Spurs will be challenging for top 3.

We were unbeaten against the top 2, which is an indication already of how good will be.

Meanwhile, Arteta is blaming everyone bar himself for his failure to secure top 4, playing 1 game a week and having 6 points on Spurs.

What a bottle job!

You're right. Thing is we don't really need them. Even if we wanted to, there's not many in the world that would improve on Son and Kane. Kulusevski has come in and done great, though we need some better depth for our forward line the first choice is more than good enough.

We could maybe do with a fashionable 'ready made' option in CM. Though as you point out, we've tried that and they flopped. Again, we need depth here really with an Eriksen or similar to give it a bit of variety.

I think we'll really have to spend on a CB and wing backs. Fortunately, that's an area of expertise for the coach and DoF so we should be alright there.

What about Ar5enal anyway? Is Pepe still a thing?

Media reports I saw earlier today suggest the money isn't for transfers.
