Stoopo, I know you’re often on the ball, but a note of caution is that especially in the UK., you now live in a country where someone just points a finger - and often a false or exaggerated finger only out of spite - simply just to trigger an investigation. That’s worse in a way, but worst of all, liars/exaggerators/manipulators are an insult to the real victims. As Batty says, people can blow smoke knowing there is no fire, and let’s hope that’s what it is and nothing more. For example, it would be typical Warnock to joke “If ya train like you did today y’ull have to pay me to play lad!” Warnock wouldn’t think twice about saying something like that, but someone with a grudge could then easily blow it up into something it wasn’t. I’m just trying to be rational here.
Put yourself in that position if someone did the same to you out of spite. It hate when people are judged based on hearsay and the use of louder and louder assertion and loose additional claims. It also seems no coincidence that Warnock has a lot of dissenters to his blunt personality as well as his style of football, making him the perfect stereotype to have a finger pouted at him.
He always was blunt enough to make clear he didn’t like our club before he managed us, so none of us have exactly been endeared to him anyway, including me. Yes, “smug” the right word…and even had an appropriate sneering face to go with it. I just want to add a rational voice here, as irrespective of the personality, I hate these daily loose rumours which are spread like wildfire using the empty echo of others. It’s a worrying trend.
I’m adding a 3 to keep it neutral!

I see where you are coming from but I heard about something similar back in his day at LUFC. The source was from someone close to me and basically said pretty much what he’s been accused of now. “Pay to Play”.
He’s been accused and the FA are looking into it. I guess they think it’s worth investigating.

Fair point Mont, and absolutely agree, Warnock does no favours in public. He is very traditional has some very bad habits 👍🏼
But then we see the other side of him; we have to accept his wife and children know him better than we do superficially from outside.

A lot of people have judged Joe Root after the hotel shenanigans down under, so we always have to be careful about judging.
