People forget that Fergusson won the majority of his titles when the PL was alot like the SPL. Nobody waxes lyrical about Neil Lennon.

The true test of a manager is competing on the European stage against the most elite teams on the continent. Fergie was shown up, Pep only did it with Messi while Klopp has reached 3 CL finals in 4 years

The theory is that there are better players throughout the league and better managers too. Makes good teams lose more.
Well except city and Liverpool and they're better than the unbeaten arsenal.

The general technique and fitness of player is higher now and it really is that simple. Tactics play a more important role too, as does the individual instruction of players in match. There is also vastly more analysis and this is made use of.

We get it, Utd were good under Fergie once, but let's not resort to making things up to reinforce already weak point, as you just have, because I've not said we're better than those sides at all have I.
