Rumour has it that he was over in Holland after he found out his wife cheated on him. Once he was home he supposedly bedded Benji's girlfriend which explains our keeper having a significant drop-off in form.

Forrest away to Hearts. All we need now is Harkes to depart and that will be considered great early business imo.
Lewis Neilson rejects contract extension with United and away to sign for Hearts. Rumours United are not getting a penny for him due to contract offer not being made properly. Then again other rumours saying we are getting money but will go to tribunal just like a certain Charlie Telfer.
Hearts have been allowed to play a colts team in the Lowland League with Celtic and Rangers. Maybe I'm old school but why not bring back the reserve league? Walter Smith played many reserve games and went on to coach the reserves. Taught him the tactical side of the game and did he not buy two United players that played a lot of reserve football in Bollan & Cleland for Rangers?
It has also been said that Lewis wanted guaranteed 1st team football. I think the reserve league gave players a better grounding and ability to get into the first team than going out on loan that happens these days.
Then again Scottish football did away with the reserve league. Brought in the u21 league where they didn't come up against seasoned pros coming back from injury or players in and around the fringes of the first team. How they developed playing against players the same age and you wonder why they looked like a fish out of water when they came into the first team......
