You have played well, but not brilliantly. But Real are dangerous occasionally, so if Alloson stays alert, plus the defenders you will win.

You could argue that but the ball went in that direction because of Fabinho.

From a Liverpool point of view it’s just keep going as you are and the goal will come, I don’t think Real are strong enough defensively to keep a clean sheet. The key from a Real perspective is the Liverpool left back area. The plan is obviously to keep Junior up the field and try to exploit the space that TAA leaves, but Liverpool are countering this by pushing Konate across and Robertson is almost coming into a CB position, there is acres of space in the LB area, but Real either aren’t spotting it or havnt the player in Valverde to take advantage. Could be chances if/when Roderigo comes on.

Instead of trying to convince yourselves why it was offside, just be thankful it was ruled out and get on with it, because if that had been in the other penalty area you'd be screaming like schoolgirls right now.

The rule where you need to be in front of 2 players to be onside is also ridiculous. Keeper should be redundant in that situation.

Law 11

A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage

Offside, get over it
