If he joins up I predict he won't pull up any trees.

He’s meant to be a top prospect but I don’t expect a 19 year old to change our prospects right away.

Still it sounds like the type of signing we should be making.

I hear he’s quite wooden in his movement.

As long as we're not lumbered with more deadwood on a long contract and high wages

Send him on loan to Forest.
Have a root and branch review on our transfer processes.
He could be treemendous

Watched him play for the Dutch national side and he was truly woeful. However, I think it may have been his debut and he was only 18 or so. No excuse for letting Scotland score twice, but...

A below 6ft CB in this league makes me a bit nervous. Particularly in a back 4.

RM won La Liga and CL with one who is just 5ft10

They beat the best 3 of this league and Burnley have been relegated.

The best 3 of this league are not the ones you worry about in that respect.

Off the top of my head - the likes of Brentford, West Ham, Everton, Wolves, Palace, Newcastle all have the tools to really exploit it.

He's 5ft9

I thought he'd at least be 5ft11

I wonder if he'd be played as a RB and offer something similar to Kyle Walker at City?

Concrete suggests its happening.

Be a very good first signing if true.

Sounding like some typo'd version of Justin Timberlake, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

Having never seen him play I have no idea how good a leap he has that can often make up for a few lack of inches in height. And I assume that he has a few more inches to grow yet.

Why would it be a sign. One, as far as I am aware, doesn’t play football.

No idea what he’s like but if there’s one person who does then it’s EtH. He must rate him highly.

Well you previously bought a footballer who sounded like another typo'd celebrity - Matteo Darmian, and they didn't work out.

Cannavaro was only 5ft2 and he did okay.
