FFS. Sanga is my fave person in cricket but that is absolute tripe. Buttler doesn't even open in ODIs
Well bowled by Leach but the review says it was missing.
Just know these two are gonna put on another partnership
Can't think of a series where a partnership has been so prolific against us with the rest being so poor.
Fair play to the pair of them though, if they bat another session together without us breaking through then I don't think we'll be able to chase. There's just a little bit in this wicket compared to Trent Bridge and there is movement and turn. I just can't see us pulling off a 300ish run chase again.

…..
Not with our top five.

It's the top 3 and the tail I'm more concerned about!

Tbf in the 2019 Ashes we had Australia 2 or 3 down quite regularly until Smith and Labuschagne scored their obligatory 50s and 100s
A couple of edges but they don't go to hand.
Absolutely desperate for a wicket
Successful review by Blundell. I'm not as surprised as some folk!
Series won at least. But of a dead rubber this test

Need a wicket

Rooty
Would have been a great catch to be fair but still!
8 wickets in the match now for Leach. Who would have thought give a bowler some time bowling in the middle and he might actually gain confidence and start taking wicket which is what Leach is now doing.
Under Root and.Co it was here bowl a fews and then off you go and dropped for next test match.
Hopefully Under Stokes and Co he plays every test at home.so we can finally judge him. Not just ship him out to tours in Asia and act surprised when he gets smacked around by batters who love playing against Spin.
Made up for Leach, I was one who thought we had to go Parkinson as if we aren't going to trust Leach to be an attacking spinner or a containing one or whether he can't so either, it seemed pointless playing him.
Stokes has given him more and more responsibility and he's repaid that confidence shown in him.
Him and Potts have been fantastic in this match considering all the buzz was about Jamie Overton being able to bowl bombs.
Still a lot of work to be done with the bat but the tea will be confident given how the last 2 tests have gone. Obviously got to get this last wicket first.
